Guys, a question for you. Would it be better for my 2nd to be a young widow, so she can make full use of her sexuality, or a woman with a broken betrothal for whatever reason, but who has some knowledge of her own sexuality? The problem is that a virgin bride is a more attractive prospect for most men outside of a love match, but her sexual awareness wouldn't be quite as strong.
If I make her a widow I'd make her 23, if not she'll be 20 or 21.

How about a "virgin" widow like Margaery?

Also, if we could get a brief summary of Far Reach history within the game that could be helpful when creating character histories. Nothing too long, a list with important dates and people would probably suffice.

I think that's what that bridge thread is partially for. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't around for the really old LOW history and the Far Reach didn't do much when I was here, so I think we may have to reply on others to provide the information. This is the difficult thing about not having an "old guard" member on the team. I was praying Stranger would show up and be talked into joining us but no luck as yet! I was thinking about a Katherine of Aragon type situation, actually

Yeah, I read through the bridge thread, but unfortunately there isn't much solid information in there yet. Hopefully more contributions will be made over time. If Stranger shows up we'll be set in every possible way, provided he joins us.

Yeah. We can't guarantee it, unfortunately. To be honest, if he did appear, and was willing to join, I'd happily yield the lordship to him if he wanted, if he showed up in time to play my dad or put in an extra elder brother (I refuse to give up Gwayne himself). But some of the guys think he'd rather have his own house or be admin. Yet I know he likes being a regular player too. Guess we'll wait and see.

Well, there's some incentive there for disliking the Dornish (fled from battle).

Hah yeah. Plus all the old prejudices of course!

There's some great stuff in that board. I'm assuming it's all relevant? If so we should look to keep up the good relations with the Royces.

I haven't looked at much yet. But I am all for good relations with as many as possible. Remember this is 100 or so years in the future so things might have changed.

By the sounds of things almost everyone hated us except the Royces and vice versa.

Typical. Fortunately there's a lot of players who weren't there to know about that. I don't think they can hold the past against us newer people
