Definitely Archer. No comparison. Wittier writing, original premise and amazing direction and conceptual ideas for each episode.

If I'm going for live action comedy I'm going with Arrested Development.

I thought it was a departure, but I feel like it was almost a completely different show in a good way. I LOVED the way everything connected, and how they showed that Michael and GM are just as fucked up as the rest of the family. It's really the only direction they could go without ruining everything.

Yeah, I very much enjoyed the format (even though it was mostly due to necessity) and it was fun not having Michael as "the good guy". Need to really rewatch that season, as I've seen the others 5+ times and it takes more than one viewing to see all the jokes. Great show.

Archer all the way! One of the few shows that doesn't pander to its audience.

Anyways, none of this matters because if you haven't seen House of Cards I'm going to refuse to talk to you. ANY of you. It's probably the best show I've ever seen.

I don't watch any of these shows except BBT and occasionally The Simpsons when it's not an episode I haven't see 100 times already I have no idea what most of the shows mentioned are!

House of Cards is the future of television. Netflix is basically becoming the new HBO, of the 3 "Netflix Original" series so far, 2 of them are brilliant. Hemlock Grove was ehhhhh, but I think they learned their lesson. It's basically a modern day intrigue about a man trying to become as powerful of a person in the American government as he can.
