The seats seemed to be fore sitting. The table seemed normal but as he examined it he saw that there was a carving of a tree with a dagger in front of one seat, and a flaming book in front of another.

Finn considered the symbols curiously. "mean anything to you?" he asked Mariya.

"Not really," she sighed. "I can only think that the followers of the Old Gods worship trees, and R'hllor's followers worship fire. If those are sigils of any houses in Westeros I don't recall them from our heraldry classes."

As he looked further he found that all but one of the seats had a symbol carved infront of it. One was a chain. One an anchor. And a bow and arrow, but the arrow's head was a heart. One was three bells dancing in air. One was a ship a sea. And the last grinning pig.

Finn blinked, then removed a piece of charcoal from his pocket and a rolled up piece of parchment. he began taking etchings of each symbol moving swiftly.
"keep your ears open for trouble" he instructed.

Mariya did so.
"Perhaps some guild or other," she suggested. "Or a secret order of knights."

With the symbols recorded, Finn looked around for anything else of use within he small meeting room.

Underneath one of the seats was a book.

Finn checked the book cautiously, looking for a trap. If he saw none, he picked it up.

There was no trap.

Finn tucked the book into his robes, "We'd best go, I think" he said softly. "I don't know what else to gain from being here."

"Of course," Mariya said. "Shall I go up first?"

Finn nodded, "Quietly now," he advised, moving back through the basement quietly, resetting the door the way it was as he did so.

Mariya climbed up through the trapdoor and waited for Finn, keeping herself alert in case they had been discovered.

There was no one in the room when they came up.
