Robb sat at the end of one of the tables, dressed in a dull black velvet doublet with orange studs and black hoses. A sad look moved across his face as he looked up to where Baelor sat at head table. He wasn't that close of a friend with Baelor, but Robb had felt the loss of family so he sympethized with the young lord.
He took a small piece of grilled meat with his knife, and nibbled on it as he studied the other fosterlings at the tables.

He noticed Brandon was sitting next to him, "Pass the bread Robb."

Robb returned to the world of the living when he heard Brandon speak. He had lost himself in the memories of the news of his brothers deaths during the war and the feelings that had woken in his mother and father's eyes. He took the plate that stood on the table and handed it over to Brandon so he took take a piece.
"Here you go, Brandon. It feels a bit weird sitting here eating like this, don't you think?"

Brandon shrugged, "I feel bad for Baelor but really a feast is thrown here for everything. I hope Baelor is doing alright. Family is always important."

Mariya wondered how Lara felt about the betrothal to Tybalt - it would make her chances of achieving her goals smaller still. She'd already known about Sapphire and the king, and thought that Danyella and Michael would be a good match. She did, however, glance worriedly at Finn, her cheeks pink with embarrassment. A public announcement was the last thing she wanted and she guessed the same was true of Finn.
"Sorry," she mouthed at him in sympathy, and fixed her eyes on her plate.

"You've nothing to apologize for," he replied, mask of smiles returning, "It's just a sad occasion, that's all." Whether he meant the marriage announcements, or the funeral feast is left unclear.

Baelor paused, looked to Lord Garnet before quickly looking away again. They had not announced a betrothal between him and Tyana. Did they know?
Baelor shifted in his seat and slowly ate.

"Yes," Mariya sighed. "But I wish we had more control over our own lives."

Brandon shrugged, "I feel bad for Baelor but really a feast is thrown here for everything. I hope Baelor is doing alright. Family is always important." Robb took bite from the meat, and chewed slowly, as he thought about what Brandon just said. He agreed that family was important, but he still felt weird about being seated among all this people and enjoying food while Baelor mourned the loss of his father. "You are probably right, I just wish there was something I could do or say that would help him with his grief. I lost two brothers in the war, and I know how that effected my parents, so I can only phantom what he is going through."

"and if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their asses when they hopped," Finn replied, with a shrug.
"You were very brave on the hunt," Finn said. "No one else may comment, but you slew that beast, and deserve the credit."

Her blush deepened.
"Thank you, Finn. I appreciate that. I couldn't let you come to harm, and Michael...well. You know how it was. If I can't fulfil my goals, it may be the only time I ever get to draw my sword for real. But it was in a good cause."
She stopped toying with her food to look right at him.
"But don't forget your own courage. It can't have been easy for you to go out there again after your first meeting with the lion."

Finn sighed, "And he's still out there, the one-eyed bastard."

"Yes. Are you going to try and find him again?" She asked. "Or forget the whole thing?"

"I don't ever want to see another lion," Finn replied honestly.

"I can't blame you for that," she said. "No doubt someone else will dispose of the remaining lion in good time."
