They were surrounded by hand made shanties of corragated steel and packing foam. Most of them appeared to feature some kind of shop in the front, and housing in the rear, or above. This was only the first level, but it ran along the trench like a kind of street, with all the shops and houses against the "Wall" of rock in a sort of a U shape until it reached the other side. There were ladders placed at seemingly random intervals which led down to the next level, which was roughly the same.

Blake looked him up and down with a sneer. "Probably should've left your suit on for that, ironically you look like a person without a job. But it'll do, I guess. Where do we start, some bar?" she asked, looking around for establishments that might've looked appealing to criminals.

Almost every store seemed like it would cater to the underworld element, but then, did Undercity have an aboveworld? There were a number of small bars, something that might have been a strip club or something seedier still, and a variety of stores selling items of all kind from weapons and armor to open signs selling "Illegal drugs," which was a bit odd to see.
