As they begin to sail into the straits, further than necassary to simply test if the ship is seaworthy, Zach stands at the bow breathing in the salty air, only breaking to switch off between himself, Brandon, and Gregor to row in order to turn the ship, and keep momentum during breaks in the wind.

Brandon begins grunting each time he pulls the oar, "Damn this be such a fine way to spend the day. My arms hurt more then all day training in the yard."

"Agreed, if this wind would just remain steady we wouldn't have to row much!" He called out partially out of breath from rowing.

Zach laughs, very sore himself despite rowing less then the other two. "If there is one thing my Father taught me, it was to never count on the wind for aid." Zach walks back to the bow and looks out at the water around him. "Well I would certainly say she is seaworthy. How far should we go?" Zach smiles as he pauses. "More importantly how far can we go before they think their Vale wards have left for home?"

Brandon shrugs his shoulders, "Depends on far were willing to take a thrashing in the yard for. You know Derek will set us up Michael or himself to teach us all a lesson." Brandon smiles, "Or there was the time that Lymon made me write out all the lords and their heirs in Westeros."

"Any thrashing would be well worth it. This was...refreshing." Gregor replied with a look of joy on his face. Being under sail was an amazing feeling. Seeing the sails full of wind and feeling the ship crashing through the waves was exhilarating.

Zach was no stranger to punishment at The Hightower, he gained a sly smile. "Why don't we circle around the Arbor? We wont be back to Oldtown till morning, should be amusing to see their faces when we bring back the ship after being out for so long."

Gregor looked at Brandon then to Zach. "Lets do it!" Gregor said with a mischievous look.

Zach leaves a satisfied grin on his face as he goes back to peering out off the bow. "I do hear the Arbor is a beautiful island, we can stay close to do some sight seeing."

"Now we do sound like wicked children running away. Have a handy excuse and everything." Brandon laughs then adds, "Yes M'Lord Hightower it was a sight seeing trip."

"To sea it is then." Brandon looks up at the sail, "Is that thing going to help soon or what?"

A red sail appeared in the horizon, and it seemed to be headed their way. It came from out in the sea.

Brandon spotted the sail first, "Um Zachary do you recognise that sail."
