My Name: Blake Cassidy
My Concept: Thief
My Cutting Edge: High-tech titanium glasses which look like black Wayfarer sunglasses, but give the wearer excellent aim, infrared and night vision, and obtain information on people and objects (vitals, consistency, etc.). Helpful when cracking safes or overriding systems. Can also access the Matrix.
My Calling Card: Both her arms are tattooed in black pattern-changing tint. Usually wears her sunglasses.
My Dark Secret: Killed her crew leader, Johnny.
My Appearance: Blake stands at 5'8 and has a slim and slightly muscular physique from all her close combat and thief training. She has long blonde hair that she usually keeps tied up, and electric blue eyes. Most of the time, she wears her brown leather jacket with its sleeves pushed up to her elbows. Under the jacket on her sides she keeps her dual semi-automatic pistols, usually loaded with armor-piercing rounds.
Carries a phone-like device she uses to steal credits in their digital form.
My Mortal Weakness: Gets the occasional memory blackouts, usually lasting for two to three hours.
My History: Blake was born and raised on the streets in the bad part of the city once called Detroit. She never knew her father and her mother left her in front of an orphanage practically the moment she popped her out. At five, she started to steal food because the institution couldn't simply provide enough. She was often picked on by the other, bigger kids, and, as a result, ran away from the home with her only friend, Dash.
Blake and Dash lived for years earning money by pickpocketing people and living in other people's homes when they were on vacations or business trips. They started doing second-story jobs and fencing goods, which finally lead to a conflict with the local mob when they unknowingly stole one of their cargo shipments. Dash lost both his legs in the escape.
They fled to New York and managed to pay for Dash's artificial legs with what savings they had. After his recovery, he was able to move a lot faster than before and they quickly got back on track. They were eventually recruited into a crew by Johnny, a charming grifter with a lot of connections and resources. The fourth member was Tucker, a hacker that also served as their wheelman.
A break-in to a private entrepreneur's armory gained Blake her glasses, which were being developed as a prototype. With the help of Tucker, she perfected them.
Their next job was a simple warehouse robbery. Things went downhill when they stumbled upon illegal head-chip implants containing forbidden information about the government. Aware of their value, Johnny decided to take them anyway. While on their way to fencing them, they were ambushed by an elite government team who had tracked the chips to their location. Johnny and Blake were on the field when he got badly hit. Unable to drag him along, Blake shot him dead, not wanting to leave him behind for interrogation and torture. She couldn't find Dash or Tucker and ran.
