Natasha entered what was a dingy lobby about the size of one of her late parent's closets. There was an old fashion front desk, with a little metal bell. No one stood behind the desk.
In the time it took Natasha to assess all this, Morrigen appeared from behind her, pushing past the same heavy wooden revolving door, into the same closet sized lobby.

"Typical," Morrigan muttered, looking around in disdain at the empty room.
She walked forward to the desk and, very deliberately, rang the bell loudly and insistently.

"Thanks, deary," Natasha said, giving Morrigan only a brief glance before leaning against the counter.

Morrigan turned and looked suspiciously at the other woman.
"I'm doing it for my own advantage, not yours. This isn't good. There should be somebody here! What sort of establishment is this, to be so badly run?"

Natasha rolled her eyes and ignored the woman.

A short while after the bell was rung a video screen descended from the ceiling. A glitchy, color image of an old Asian woman appeared on the other said, "Eh.. Hello? You two want a coffin?" The Asian on the TV asked.

"A coffin, yeah," Natasha said, giving the screen a curious glance. "How much for one night?"

Morrigan hoped that coffin didn't actually mean coffin. She waited to see what happened next.

"Fifty nu-yen, 40 HK Yuan, or 2000 American dollars. Eurocred is not accepted at this facility." She said, with a sniff.

"Fifty nu-yen for a hole like this?" Natasha asked, raising an eyebrow at the screen. "Come on, surely you can't expect that much."

"If you can't make fifty nuyen a night, raise your rates," the old Asian broad replied with a sound of disinterest.

"Raise my rates?" Natasha asked, one hand on her hip. "I never knew a computer could be a bitch." She thought for a moment. "Fine, give me one night." At least her first night's sleep should be spent in comparative luxury.

"Insert script into the slot," the woman said, "and I not a computer. Close Circuit TV." From the front desk a small metal box arose, with a slot fit for slipping script inside. "Be out by 7 am, or door seal and you have to pay again."

"Any chance to rip people off," Natasha muttered to Morrigan, before taking out her script and inserting it into the slot. "There you go, you thief."
