Lymon smiled at Rupert, "Welcome lad. Please have a seat." There was a chair awaiting him before Lymon's desk.

Rupert flashed the man a grin, and seemed to gladly take a seat.
"Thank you for having me." He said, glancing around the room. "Sure are a lot of hallways here. I was lost for over an hour this morning looking for a toilet, which I think I found."

"Next time just use the pot beneath your bed it will save you a great deal of time." Lymon replied, "Otherwise how have you found the Hightower?"

"Vast. Indomitable. Malicious. Soul crushing.Though the food is quite good." He said, looking around. "I don't suppose you'd have some wine?"

Lymon chuckled, "I do, in that cabinet behind you. Why do you not pour a glass for both of us."

Rupert stood, smiling. "Imagine that, here one day and Ive already made myself indispensable." He went to the cabinet, grabbed the bottle and two cups, and returned to his seat. He poured for Lymon first.
"Say when."

"When." Lymon said almost immediately, "I would not say indispensable, but certainly valuable." He smiled at the young man.

"Such is always the case with rare pets." Rupert said, pushing his cup toward him, and pouring his own to the brim.
"But now we get to the meat. Why was I summoned?" He said it not with malice, but what sounded like genuine curiosity.

"I wanted to know where your interests lie. We offer classes in many subjects, and training of the sword in the yard." Lymon spoke then took a sip from his wine.

"I seem to have left all of my interests lying in Blackhaven." He said, his smile never faltering. "If you'll allow me, I can quickly retrieve them. I promise to return. Definitely promise."

Lymon chuckled politely, "You have quite the sense of humor. Have you considered being a court jester."

"I'm not much for acrobatics or hemming and hawing. No, I think I'd like to be king instead. I like a job where you can make your own hours, get people to do whatever you want, stay up late. That sort of thing."
His eyes lit up. "Ooh. Is there a class for that?"

"There is but I am afraid it is only offered in King's landing." Lymon replied dourly.
