Tybalt arrives at the steward's office, freshly changes out of his training yard clothes into garments of red and gold. He was whistling a merry time he had heard the night before I. The tavern as he entered, not overly concerned with what he was being summoned for.

Maester Lymon smiles at Tybalt and pours him a glass of wine. "How are you today, son?"

Tybalt takes the wine, grateful for a means of staving off the coming hangover for a bit longer.
"I am in fine spirits, maester." he said, taking a drink. "And yourself?"

Lymon replied, "I am quite well also. How are you finding your stay with us?"

"I find myself with little to complain of." Tybalt answered with a winning smile. "The city has its charms and Lord Hightower has been a most gracious host."

"And your daily lessongs, how do they go?" Lymon asked.

"Well enough." the Lannister heir replied. He excelled in lessons that held his interest such as warfare and economics, but struggled in areas he found pointless to his future as Lord of Casterly Rock. His position was secure whether he learned dry histories from dusty old tomes or not. In truth, while the instructors in Oldtown were far more knowledgeable, his father had been a far stricter taskmaster.

"That is good Ser Derek says you are quite competent with a sword." Lymon said with a smile.

"I am quite competent with most things when I put my mind to it." Tybalt replied nonchalantly, though in honesty hearing he had been praised by Ser Derek meant a great deal to him. "Forgive me, but does this meeting have a purpose maester? Surely you are far too busy man for idle chitchat."

Lymon smiled, "Of course it does. Do you know the true purpose of your being fostered here at Hightower?"

"My father sent me here to earn my spurs, heed my lessons, and mingle with others in positions of power." Tybalt answered, in his best impression of his father's authoritative tone. "If there is anything else, I fear I am unaware of it."

"You of course know how tight our families have become since the war, and there has been talk of sealing the alliance with a marriage." Lymon said smoothly.

"And I'm sure my father has driven a hard bargain on my behalf." Tybalt replied with a smirk. "I suppose this was to be expected. So who's the lucky lady you intend to make heiress to Casterly Rock?"

Lymon said, "We have not come to that decision yet. I have had the same discussion with your sister, and wanted to hear your thoughts on the subject."
