"I am also glad. And glad you are glad," Isolvelle smiled fondly at Nym.

//////////
Mariya knocked on Isolvelle's door.

At Mariya's touch the door swung slowly inward to reveal Isolvelle crouched furtively at the base of a towering stack of goblets. "Shhhhhhh," Isolvelle warned her quietly, one finger over her lips with her eyes wide. "I am conducting a physics experiment," she mouthed, backing cautiously away from the tower.

Mariya looked confused, but she moved slightly forward. She wasn't at all scientifically inclined.
"What's physics?" She mouthed.

Isolvelle shook her head speaking at a normal volume as she moved away from the the tower. "It means I want to see how high I can stack them before they fall or the steward catches me at it," she shrugged, smiling. "How can I be of service to the illustrious Mariya today?" she asked winking and dropping with a sigh into a wide plush sofa.

Mariya came cautiously forward, warily looking at the goblets.
"Oh, I have an idea and I thought you might be interested," she said.

"Do tell," she answered, folding her legs in front of her and leaning forward eagerly.

"Oh, well. I want to help women in distress. Stop them being ill-treated. But I can't do it alone," she sighed. "I thought, since you're Lady Hightower, and of Dornish birth, and come from a land where women have more rights, you might like to help."
Mariya smled hopefully. She spoke with passion. This was something she very much wanted to do.

Isolvelle gazed thoughtfully at Mariya for a long moment which stretched uncomfortably long. Her eyes began to narrow as the seconds passed, and just as the pause was verging on unbearably long she exclaimed "You're exactly right, Mariya! Too right." She stood purposefully and strode quickly towards her correspondence desk, brushing against the high stacked goblets as she did. She paid no mind to the clatter as they crashed to the ground, but turned unperturbed and intent to Mariya as she sat, "What did you have in mind, specifically?"

Mariya winced as the goblets clattered to the ground but she walked over to stand by Isolvelle.
"I want to be a knight. Or...as much a knight as a woman can ever be. So I need the kit a knight has. Armour and a warhorse and a good sword. And a banner to call my own. And if I can find them, women willing to take up arms to defend their sisters. But anyone who wishes to help would be welcome, whether or not they can fight. I'd also like the support of any lord or knight who agrees. So it would be an order of warrior women, chiefly. Like the Warrior's Sons, but women."

"And what will be their cause, or will they be a band of women mercenaries?" Asked Isolvelle, confused.

"Not mercenaries. That's why we need someone to sponsor us. We would fight in the name of the gods, to protect women in danger and punish those who do them harm. And perhaps we could do other great deeds too. In time."

With a tightly knitted brow and her lips smushed precariously to one side, Isolvelle answered hesitantly "I think this will put you in a great deal of danger, dear Mariya."

"I know. But no great deeds are done with taking risks," Mariya said. "And women risk their lives in childbirth and nobody thinks anything of it. So why shouldn't I do this? I appreciate your concern but I'm willing to take the risk. It's in a good cause, anyway."
She smiled hopefully. The more she thought about this, the more she wanted it.

"It is in a good cause," Isolvelle agreed sluggishly, looking sideways at Mariya as if she were a dragon poised to strike, "and you are a child no longer..." She thought a long moment on how to proceed, "Personally, I had rather we open a school or a library, but I see this is your passion." She thought a long moment in total silence concentrating on an adjacent wall and tapping a quill arhythmically against the desk. When she finally spoke, she did not look towards Mariya, but continued gazing thoughtfully into the air. She began slowly, but the pace of her words came more quickly as she found conviction with them; "On your next name day I will make a gift to you of enough coin to begin this endeavor. It will not carry you long; you must use it only for the essential requirements and to make a name for yourself and your cause. If you succeed in this we may hope that other patrons will come forward to sponsor your continuance and expansion."
