Ser Euric Dayne stood at the center, Dawn unsheathed in his hand. The point was resting on the ground and his hands were on the pommel; his gaze empty.

Ganieda was there, along with alot of the Iron Born. She had no expression on her face, but was watching with bright eyes.

Rhaenys came to stand beside Euric while they waited for the prisoner to be brought out. She gave the Ironborn girl a sympathetic look and hoped the rest of the Ironborn thought little enough of their former lord not to raise objections at his death.
"Harlaw should be along in just a moment," she said to Euric. "Cruel bastard. We're well rid of him. It's the daughter I feel for. Still, she's losing a father but gaining a name and a husband of rank."

Euric nodded solemnly, looking scarily like his grandfather in all blacks.

Harlaw was shuffled in.
"This is justice in your greenlands eh?" He yells loudly, "Executed without so much as a trial, or a by your leave, while you sell that bastard girl to the Kraken like the chattel she is?" He says, in Queen Rhaenys' general direction. As he reaches the platform he turns to Euric, "Who are you supposed to be?" he snorts.

Ganieda just smiled at her Father's outburst. It was so like him.

Euric frowned at the man. "Ser Euric Dayne is my name."

Theodore walked up to Rhaenys,"My Queen, may I have a word before the execution?" He had Red Rain on his back but besides that he wore civilian clothes.

"Bullshit, My ancestors killed all your kind long ago. You're just another bastard. This whole kingdom is ruled by nothing by bastards and whores," Harlaw replied.

"I thought you Ironborn believed all men are equal, base born and true." Euric smiled. "At least that is what your daughter told me."

Rhaenys looked coldly at Harlaw.
"There were too many witnesses to your guilt. Any trial I held would have been a foregone conclusion. Why put us all through that?"

Harlaw spit on Euric's boot.
"Just try to get it in one blow, will you Sands. Would trust one of you Dornish bastards to chop firewood."

Euric chuckled. "Actually, it is 'Sand'." With that he stepped back and waited for the man to kneel.
