The room shared by Mariya Rowan and Lynesse Bolton. Mariya's half of the room is decorated with a tapestry depicting the star emblem of the Seven, a few books and 2 chests of clothes.

Tyana arrived, dressed incredibly casually in a plain, deep green dress. She had barely left her room, other than to go and eat in what seemed like forever, and so decided, despite initial surprise at the odd invitation, to accept it. She could not help but think her rooms would have been better.
She knocked on the door, and waited to be admitted.

Mariya opened the door and smiled at Tyana. She too was simply dressed.
"Hello, Tyana," she said. "I've hardly seen you except at the feasts, since the time we spoke on the balcony. I hope you're alright."

"Hello, Mariya." she said, and entered the room, looking round and trying not to let her judgement show, she sometimes forgot how some of the other foster children lived, with visiting them but rarely. At least Mariya had her own room now.
"Thank you for inviting me, it has been too long." she smiled genuinely at the other, always having enjoyed her company, "I tend to keep to myself, I am not very fond of this place, but I am well enough, how are you?"

"I'm fine," Mariya lied. "It's strange that you say you hate this place - and you're not the only one - but this is the only home I've ever known."
She shrugged and indicated the food laid out on the table where once there had been Lynesse Bolton's bed. There were two mismatched chairs as well.
"Pleease, sit down. I know it's hardly the best place to receive guests, but it's my own small kingdom," she said with a laugh.
The table was set with plates of capon and pork, bread and cheese. There was a fruit pie and jugs of summerwine and ale."

"I never said I hated it," Tyana said, as she looked at the chairs, wondering if they were likely to fall down or not. Judging them safe, she sat down on the one furthest into the room, "You are fortunate then, I have to share everything with my brother, but I suppose we all have our little problems." she said, nodding slightly and looking round the room again, she'd not swap for love or money.
"You've made it very... comfortable, by the looks of it. So is this just a social invitation?"

"Yes. I thought it would be fun. I thought it might be good to talk about things. I...um...heard you were betrothed."

"Who knows, seeing as it was not announced before Baelor became Lord Stark I imagine he does not have to go through with it if he does not want, and I imagine he does not want." She said, with a small smile, "And you. You are joining with House Varner... congratulations." She couldn't quite keep the amusement out of her eyes as she said it.

"Oh. Um...I might not be marrying Finn after all," Mariya confided. "But please keep that to yourself for now. Because I'm not sure what's happening. But that's good news for you, then, because you're free a while longer?"

"It all depends on my father I think, and obvious if Baelor will be stubborn." she said, with a shrug then grinned and leant forwards slightly, "It shall not go out of this room, I assure you, but why might you not be marrying him now?"

Mariya sighed. She was extremely confused about recent events.
"Something happened during the hunt, Tyana. Something strange, that should have been the most wonderful thing in the world, but Lord Hightower says it's shameful and wicked. He told Finn not to marry me. And Finn thinks if I pursue my dreams I ought not to marry at all."

"It seems we can't get everything we want." Tyana said, not sure what happened, "Why, what happened on the hunt?" she asked, trying to coax answers out of Mariya like a badger from a set.

"I killed the lion which injured Michael," Mariya explained. "And this is the part that you mustn't tell anyone, Tyana. I suppose it will come out at some point, but...the king knighted me. Me!"
She smiled, still enthralled by the idea in spite of Lord Hightower's disapproval.

"Knighted you? So you are not Ser Mariya Rowan?" She said, frowning, at the horrible sound, "Well, congratulations I suppose. I heard about the incident on the hunt with Michael, that is what you get for trying to deal with Lions." She was rather proud of the lion actually, "Did you really want to be knighted?"
