"Now now, do calm down." Tyana said, smiling to herself as she saw his... discomfort, "A man from the West should not get worked up so easily, if you can't handle talking to me, how will you ever handle all of those mean old lords when your time comes?"

Robb raised a eyebrow toward her, not entirely comfortable with how easy Tyana could read him. He took a deep breath to calm the fire that was building in his soul.
"I usually don't get worked up this easily, Lady Tyana, and I believe that one should speak to a woman with respect, so I kept myself civil just now even though you spoke to me in a manor I have done nothing to deserve." he said, his voice much calmer, but with still a hint of anger on it.

"I didn't realise I had spoken to you in a manor you did not deserve. I thought we were having such a nice chat too. If you do not wish to keep speaking to me, feel free not to, silence is such a good friend of mine." She said, to him, still smiling slightly.

Robb felt a rush of heat move over him, the woman was sly and used your own emotions against you. This was no lioness in front of him, Tyana was more like a snake, luring you in to bite you when you least expect it.
"I told you from the beginning that I did not wish to disturb you with what you were doing, Lady Tyana. So if you feel that I am taking up your precious time by speaking with you, I am more than willing to wait outside for your brother." he said with a shake to his head.

"I never said you were taking up my time. It was your well being, as my guest, I was concerned about. You are so very defensive, putting words into my mouth. I'd hate for you to remain uncomfortable," Tyana commented, looking at him in the eyes, so far he had not exactly impressed her, and as such she would be unlikely to try and strike up a friendship with him at their next meeting.

Robb raised a eyebrow toward Tyana, she was a enigma and he began to wonder if all her horses in her head were working the way they should.
"I am not on the defensive, I've been thought one shouldn't obtrude people to talk if they are occupied with other matters. And when I tried to hold a simple conversation, you felt the need to speak to me as if I am responsible for my father's action and that I didn't deserve to take up your time by being the youngest son."

"I think you're misunderstanding me," She said, reminded of her conversation with William Mallister not long ago, "You sound awfully defensive to me, rather than wave off what I say for being folly, as you apparently think it is, you have reacted to it and have tried to justify yourself." she shook her head then, "And what I never mentioned that you did not deserve to take up my time, true as it may be, I merely enquired as to your aptitude to be my brother's bannerman."

Robb bowed his head slightly.
"I think we're speak past each other right now, Lady Tyana, since we both place interpretations of what we say to each other instead of listening to what the other one says. For my part in this, I apologize, I acted hasty and foolishly to when you spoke of my father and my position, which is a touchy subject for me so I might have behaved in a manner not proper. I can't just wave away what you said as folly since you did speak the truth about me being a traitor's son."

"Yes, I did, didn't I." She said, her face straight now, with less amusement as the spat came to an end, she still thought Marbrand was in the wrong, but was not interested enough in pursuing the matter, "I have a feeling, when you're a lord of your own, you may have to deal with it a lot more."

Robb nodded, deciding there and then that women were a mysterious speices of their own and something he'd probably never understand, leaning back in chair.
"Yes, you are probably right, Lady Tyana, but that won't happen for a couple of years yet and I hope that have learned to not let the matter control my feelings as I let them now. Besides, the Hightowers must let me return to Ashemark before I can be a lord of anything. I heard you are Lady Danyella's best friend, I was going to ask what makes her happy and what she likes."

Tyana smiled, "She is a big lover of lemon cakes. Really cannot get enough," she informed him "Why do you want to know?"

Robb nodded and couldn't help himself from returning a smile.
"Well, as I know you know, she is getting married soon and I would like to give her something that she'd like and I thought who'd better to ask than her best friend."

Tybalt stepped from his room, freshly dressed in a burgundy doublet and breeches with a gold sash.
"When I had my own quarters in Casterly Rock, there was hardly this much bickering." he remarked, having heard bits of the conversation through his door. "Miraculous how much that changes when living with my sister. How are you this fine day Marbrand?"

As the door to Tybalt's room opened, Robb rose from his chair, and executed a simple bow before his future liegelord as the man walked up them. He felt a bit embarressed that Tybalt had heard bits of their conversation, it was not how he wanted to start being looked upon by the Lannisters.
"I can't complain, I guess, my lord. My knee hasn't healed completely since a training bout a couple of days ago, but other than that all is as usual. How are you? I hope I am not interupting you by coming here today."

"You look ridiculous," She muttered to her brother, though smiled to show she didn't mean it, then went back to reading her book, job done now Tybalt had arrived.
