Tybalt grunted. "After seeing that many people murdered in front of me, misgivings about my upcoming nuptials seem trivial in comparison. I suppose there are worse things than having a bookish wife." he mused.

Joss looked at him surprised, "You are that affected? I thought nothing touched you?" He smiled slightly, "Well man... what do you want to do? Lets do something to cheer you up."

"It simply put things in perspective, nothing more." Tybalt answered, with a shrug. "First I'd hear what else you are, besides a barkeep and smuggler that is?"

Joss laughed, "Why Tybalt you want to get your hands dirty?"

"The life of a scoundrel seems to suit you well enough so why not?" he replied, draining the rest of he potent wine. "My sister has proposed a trip to Casterly Rock in the near future. Perhaps we can link Lannisport and Oldtown in more than just marriage."

"You mean my criminal empire?" Joss asked with a smile and a wink.

Tybalt laughed, feeling more at ease with the potent wine and good company.
"Is it an empire now? Who says you have no aspirations?" he jested, before adopting a more businesslike tone. "The mines of Casterly Rock and Golden Tooth will dry up eventually. Best to have some additional income at my disposal."

Joss nodded, "That could be true. Alright assuming you are serious.. where do you draw the line?"

Tybalt considered the question a moment before answering.
"I fear I do not yet know where I draw my line." he replied. "What young man in such a sheltered life does? It is part of the reason I want to undertake such a venture, to learn my limits. I wondered at the parade how many of those assassins knew when they were my age that they were capable of loosing an arrow at the King of Westeros. I can't imagine many."

Joss looked at Tybalt, "How old are you exactly?"

Tybalt looked at his friend curiously as if that was a bizarre question to ask. "I'm 17 Joss."

"At seventeen your average assassin has been killing for years. They have had a much harder life then you can imagine. They are not yet skilled enough to be hired for any real coin, but there are always petty squabbles." Joss replied, with a grim look on his face. He refilled their glasses, and then drained his again.

Tybalt drank from his refilled glass, troubled by the revelation.
"I stand corrected then." Tybalt said after a few moments. "Clearly you know more of the assassin's trade than I do. As I said, the sheltered life of a lordling has its disadvantages."

Joss nodded, "I have always sought to know the people of Oldtown... their lives are so interesting. Even the ones that are broken or bent. They amaze me."

Tybalt nodded, fondly remembering his own adventures with the small folk of Lannisport.
"Seeing how the other half lives is always fascinating. So tell me more of this empire of yours."
