Sapphire quirked her mouth and said, "Last time I checked... so did you." "Hey, but I am a boy!" Baelor replied, giving a laugh. "Anyway, I need to think on things the two of us can do!" "Well Bae I really need more people in the Hunt so please play one way or the other." Sapphire told him.

Finn raised his eyebrow, "I'm fond of making inferences."

"Well Bae I really need more people in the Hunt so please play one way or the other." Sapphire told him. "I'll join the hunt, don't worry!" Baelor called with a grin before running out of the chambers.

Finn raised his eyebrow, "I'm fond of making inferences." "I have heard. It is an adorable quality." Sapphire replied, "Do you think often of your home?" She smiled and twisted a lock of her hair around a finger.

"Do you think often of unicorns?" Finn replied.

"Do you think often of unicorns?" Finn replied. "Why would I think of House Brax that often? They are a tad out of the way." Sapphire smiled at him.

"What I mean is, unicorns do not exist. So they do not warrant thinking about much, if at all," Finn said, rocking back on his heels, "I feel similarly about home."

Sapphire thought for just a moment, "I do not think your analogy is particular apt." She smiled in almost a smirk, "There have never been unicorns, but at one time you did have a home."

Finn gritted his teeth, "perhaps I ought to have said dragons, or giants." he replied. "But regardless my point is what it is."

"I have often thought on the Giants." Sapphire said, "Hunted to near extinction by their betters. Do you think if any had survived they could have just peacefully accept their place among mankind? Or would they foolishly throw away their lives in some desperate attempt at returning to a dead past?" She sipped at her tea and watched Finn with a vapid smile on her face.

"I am sure they would have mindlessly caused mayhem and destruction, and ruined many innocent lives, before finally being dispatched forever." Finn replied. "I find myself often thinking on dragons, and how foolish it was for men to destroy them, when... properly cared for, they could be ridden and provide their masters with power and dominion," He smiled knowingly.

Sapphire nodded, "I suppose it is because man feared their power. A great aid true, but a graver danger as well. For if a dragon turns on you in flight... can you imagine a more dreadful fate?"

"All the best swords have two-edges, or so I'm told," Finn replied, "Any power worth having has the same risk."

Sapphire studied him a long moment, "Are you a man worth having then Finn Varner?" There was something in the way she said his full name that put him on edge.

"That depends entirely on what you want me for," Finn replied, leaning forward on his toes slightly, and smiling.
