Danny shook his head, "I'll be fine for a time," he said, "Your horse probably wants his blanket back anyway," he laughed, and walked over to where the two horses were staked down.

'If you are sure.' She said. 'thank you. will you help me on to my horse?'

Danny nodded, and put his arms on Heidi's hips, before helping to elevate her so that she could mount her horse.

She sat side saddle and got comfprtable. 'Thank you kindly.'

Danny smiled, "You are quite welcome," he said, before mounting his own pony, and clicking his tongue to get the beast to start ambling northward.

She kicked her horse and followed after him

After a few hours ride, they entered a dark grove of trees. Each tree was old growth with a massive white trunk. In the center of the grove, was a large weir-wood, its bloody smiling face staring down at the two riders.

She shivered at the sight as they approached. 'Is this the place?'

[The Flint]

Danny nodded as he stopped his horse and dismounted.

She stopped and waited for him to help her down.

Danny approached and casually lowered Heidi to the ground as if she weighed little more then a housecat. He lingered with his arms on her waist for a moment, before smiling.

She smiled back and quickly kissed his lips

Danny smiled, and took her by the hand, as they walked forward towards the tree, He knelt down together with her before the tree, and smiled over at her.

She smiled back nervously, thoughts of what her father would think going through her head

Danny looked over at her, "Not really sure what we're supposed to say," Danny said, "Other than the usual," He said, "Heidi of House Caron, here before the sight of all the Gods, Old and new, will you marry me, bear my children, and swear to love, honor, and obey me for all the days of your life?"
