Heidi drank the wine and looked at Danny out of the corner of her eye.

As she did, she caught him staring at her from across the room. Finding himself caught, Danny quickly looked away.

Summer smiled, but said nothing as she drank her wine. When Heidi next glanced over again, Danny was in deep discussion with Mors and Donnel and they appeared to be chiding him about something. Finally Danny nodded in apparent agreement, and stood. As he did he gripped his lute around the neck with one hand, as if it was a battle-axe, and he approached.
"Summer, Lady Heidi," he said as he approached, offering curt bows, "How are you enjoying the feast?"

Danny smiled, and took up his lute, plucking a few strings to ensure it was in tune. "I don't know southron songs," he said, "But here's a few we sing up my my way." he began to pick out a tune on the strings, and began to croon a song about the beauty of the northern mountains, their snow capped peaks and their crystal blue lakes.

She closed her eyes and listened to him sing and play, a smile spread across her face.

Osha's eyes were locked on her new husbands, and she sipped her wine quietly. Brandon Flint was scanning the crowd to see who among the north had come to do honor to his and the Dustin's family, in between worrying his auroch meat with his few teeth.
Danny transitioned from that song, into a song about a young girl watching down as her man went down into the valley to answer a call to war. It was a very sad song.

Danny watched her expression and smiled softly as the song came to an end.
