"I had not planned to." she said letting him take her hand. "tell me of your other sister, what is she like?"

Allard smiled, "She is the one member of my family that everyone loves. Her husband will be here as well, but he hardly ever speaks."

"I look forward to meeting her." she smiled warmly a lock of auburn hair falling across her face

[The Smith]

Allard smiled, "She has hair like yours. Hers is like strawberries and gold." He lifted up and touched her hair.

She blushed and smiled shyly as he did so. "my father always said mine reminded him of autumn "

[The Smith]

Allard smiled, "I can see that, but it seems to alive for autumn." He studied her hair, and added, "We should ride."

She pulled away she had momentarily forgotten herself. "yes, I agree."

[The Smith]

Allard turned and snapped, the servants lead his horse over. He mounted with ease.

She waited for them to ready her horse and mounted. ". She smiled at ser allard. "ready?"

Allard nodded, "Yes, be careful on the ride down the hill." Allard kicked his horse into a gallup and rode down the hill.

She kicked her horse and followed swiftly after

Allard led her down the hill and then up another heading east. He wanted to gallop so there was little time to chat as they rode. Eventually he slowed down to smile at her.

She had kept up with him easily as slowed as he did. She surveyed the view. "this is quite a delightful view."

"The west is by far the most beautiful of lands. It can be seen on days like this." Allard breathed in deep, and smiled.

"I quite agree it is most desirable ."
