"Do they not long for families of their own. I was not happy until I was married." Baldwin replied.

'yes, i believe my father is working on one for Jakub at the moment, and Heidi and myself were sent to Kings Landing for percisely that.'

[The Smith]

Allard studied his father.

Baldwin nodded, "You will have to dine with me later this week. Benedicta will be made to pay for the horrible wickedness she caused earlier. I apologize for that."

[Helyn Caron]

'Of course milord, i should indeed like that very much.' She smiled. 'As for what happened, it was just quite a shock to me, i had not expected quite a welcome.'

[The Smith]

Baldwin nodded, "I am sorry for intruding, but I wanted to meet the woman my son spoke so warmly of. Unfortunately I must go... enjoy your meal."

He looked at his son, and said, "Allard I will need to speak with at dawn's light in my library." He pulled back out the door.

[Helyn Caron]

She waited until Lord Baldwin had left and turned to the Son. 'I hope i did not say anything untoward.'

Allard shook his head, "No you were perfect." He smiled suddenly, "Most men weep when they first meet my father."

[Helyn Caron]

'i am sure that will come when i am alone.' She smiled. 'I did not wish to embarrase you, i was not expecting such intense questions.'

[The Smith]

"My father is an intense man. Always" He smiled a little. "Is yours much the same?"

[Helyn Caron]

'No quite so, but he has his moments. It depends on the moment you catch him.'

[The Smith]

Allard smiles, "My father is always in one of those moments. It can be quite intolerable."

[Helyn Caron]

She smiled. "he seems Bice enough."

[The Smith]

Allard shook his head, "He must have put some effort into meeting you then, cause you are the first person I have heard refer to him as nice."

[Helyn Caron]

She smiled. 'Well i have only met him for all of five minutes, not a lot of time to find out of someone.'

[The Smith]

Allard nodded, "Five minutes is more time then a lot of men would wish in his presence." He spat out a laugh, "Perhaps we should change topics. What would you wish to speak of?" Allard asked knowingly.
