"The men at the taverns who take too long deciding which pretty girl they are interested in, go home alone," Summer said, "But you want to talk price, we can do price." she quoted the number She and Lily had discussed, which factored in the cost of growing and shipping, as was still tidy profit.

The man rubbed his chin, and said, "That is almost an acceptable price."

"Consider that within a few months, you'll have a customer base of transfixed loyalty. The possibility for your profit margin will be amazing. And they'll just keep coming back," Summer said. "I think you could easily see 20% returns, and that'll go up once you've got them hooked."

The man studied her, "It is attractive, but Lily brought you here cause I have more carts in better territory then any other ten men in King's Landing."

"Which I fully appreciate," Summer replied, "But I'm not sure what you want me to do about it. I'm offering you a product with almost limitless profit potential, and you want me to knock a few more silvers off my end? Come one now, I'm the one with hard and fast expenses that need covering. Your carts and storage space are fixed costs, you gots to pay them, whether we deal or no. So there's no sense NOT making a deal."

"If I do not sell your weed then I will sell cod or mushrooms. Either has an established market presence, this weed is new merchandise... I take a risk by purchasing it." He smiled and added, "This price need not be set in ink, we can shift it with the next batch, but I must be compensated for my gamble."

Summer frowned... "How about an introductory price. First month," Summer says, quoting a number that was half way between the amount of profit they had initially wanted, and what was absolutely necessary to pay the bills. "If it sells the way I say it will, we go to the regular price next month, If not, we can renegotiate or take it elsewhere."

The man nodded, and offered her his hand, "Deal."

Summer shook it enthusiastically. "Very good. I'm sure you'll be pleased." she said.

"I always am. Get out Gregor." He ignored them, and turned his head back to his work.

Summer departed and rejoined Lily, quickly bringing her up to speed as to the price to be paid.

Lily was waiting outside nervously, when she heard the price quoted she let out a large sigh of relief, "That is better then I expected. You have done well." She gave her a little hug.

Summer hugged her tightly, "Thank you, I couldn't have done it without you. Are we settled now? Its been a long day, but I know at some point I'm going to have to return north, and I want to make certain you have everything you need to keep things going before then."

Summer exhaled, "Thank gods. I'm exhausted. We'd best pick up our brothers. They are probably three sheets to the winter wind by now." She said with a giggle.
