Royce's men charge across the field directly at the Lannister men. The Lannister's brace accept for Clegane who at the last second throws himself at the Royce line. The sound of metal crunching and bending is incredibly loud.
The Northmen and Iron Isalnds team up, and prove quite effective. Protecting each either they begin to clear the field of all the men fighting together in ones or twos.
Corbray eliminates a hedge knight, only to be dispatched by the Frey contingent. Then The Redwynes com crashin in to the Freys. Swords flying free all over the place.
Celtigar is off by himself fighting with another Dragonstone man, and he sees his friend Crabb knocked from the event by a hedgeknight named Smith. He defeated the Draongstone man he is with, and then knocks the Hedgeknight from the match.

Ser Gruffydd Harlaw dances gracefully among the combatants, striking men down with reckless abandon, dodging strikes and countering those that he could not avoid. Any man fighting alone he would move to attack, keen to take advantage of any who did not have the advantage of numbers.

Bowen Dustin fights with something akin to fury, screaming curses and cruelly striking whatever enemy he finds in his path. Hallis Dustin on the other hand starts off a bit like the virgin at an orgy, unsure of himself, and stays in line. Soon after he's dispatched his first opponent he begins to find confidence and fight more aggressively. Daryn Dustin, slowed by age, works mostly in a supporting role, placing a blow when he can but spending as much effort helping the men around him-- warning them of an unseen opponent or pointing out weaknesses of the foeman.

The Frey group works as a coherent unit, both Ser Harys and Ser Garlan barking commands and alerting each other of incoming dangers.
After felling the fellow Valemen, the Freys turned to the organized Reachmen and clashed. If they managed to fell them, they would move to the perimeter of the melee, and wait for the two larger forces to demolish each other.

Ser Ryon Redwyne and Ser Mandon Stonecrab fight back to back, finding themselves hard pressed by the Frey contingent. Ser Ranulf Redwyne fights almost lazily, holding his sword loosely in one hand, but whenever a man swings at him he always dances just out of reach, and his counter-attacks are swift and accurate.

The Flints stay close with their allies the Dustins and the Boltons, along with the graceful Harlaw fighter.
Tormund Flint and Alfyn Flint use their shields to form a wall, as Ryk's powerful flail tears through those foolish enough to enter into the circular blur that is its range. Those who make it through the whirlling chain and ball, are quickly met by crushing blows from Ramsay's axe.

Brandon forms up with the men at the front of the Northmen group, using his bulk to instill fear in his opponents, his hammer swinging down with brutal force. Benjen stays at the groups left flank, his shield up and his sword ready to counter any attacks.

The other Corbrays charge the Freys seeing their Lord fall, and the Freys are hard pressed between them and the Redwynes. Men fall on both sides as they lay about themselves with their blades.
The two Toland boys attack the lone Celtigar, and somehow how Celtigar defeats both of them.
The Royce's and Lannister tear into one another. The Lannister's numbers, and skill seem to be taking their toll on their Vale attackers. Randall Lannister is knocked out cold as Rhodri attempts to fight his was to Tomas Clegane. Clegane as always knocks men aside with a wild abandon that causes trained knights to blanche.
The northmen round the edges of the fray eliminating the weak, and strong alike. They take out the remnants of the Redwynes, and Corbrays as those two groups finsih off the Frey. The Northmen take some losses as well.
Soon the melee was done to just these men.

"Let us hang together a moment longer!" Ramsay suggests keeping his axe up protectively, "And take them out one at a time!"

Bowen Dustin bellows out, "Whoresons! I'm coming for you!" His greatsword swings in great arcs as he tackles another foe.

The Westerners attack savagely the Royces, and the fight presses hard, Lord Dondarrion falls to their attack. The two Royce's are scrambling back both on the defensive.
Then the Northern alliance crashes in splintering any organization in either the Westmen, or the Valemen.
Kennos Keath goes down to a blow from Harlaw. And Bolton manages to knock Sanatager from the duel. Then the Westmen, and the vale turn on their Northern attackers. And the Northmen realize they might have taken to large a bite.
Tomas Clegane roared, and swing wildly into their midst, and hit the last Flint so hard he nearly passed out. Then with his back swing Clegane took down Hallis Dustin.
Then Rhodri Redspear was there attacking the Wild Dog, and the fight both men wanted was gifted to them. Sword, and spear whirled through the air fiercely, the two were so fast only the trained warriors could keep track of their deadly dance.
Alario Sand took down Harlaw with a vicious strike, and turned to fend off the counter from Dustin. Soon Bolton attacked as well, and the two men tried to knock him from the battle. Before the tide could turn Gerard Dayne leapt in, and attacked Dustin, drawing off him into single combat.
Roland Royce, and Allard Lannister dueled hard, it feel to them always to be the second best blade for their side, and here they were the sideshow to the Clegane main event. They were both masters of the blade though, and with every attack blocked and countered.
There was no way Roland say the attack from Jon Celtigar, but it knocked Roland from the battle.
Allard reward Jon with a swift strike to the head, and the man bearing the crab fell from the competition.
In the main event it was becoming clear that Rhodi was slowly losing. Clegane cut him off, and penned him back. The Dog's laughed could be heard as he moved closer. Half the crowd cheered, and half the crowd bood.
Suddenly Redspear's spear was cracked in half from a vicious blow from Tomas' blade, and Rhodri looked up. Clegane raised his sword, for what suddenly every one knew was not going to simply eliminate Rhodri from the competiton, the Wild Dog was going to feast on the Redspears blood.
Then out of no where Allard Lannister cut the Dog down from behind. He laughed as he stepped over the unconcious form of Tomas Clegane and attacked an unarmed Rhodri.
Rhodri spun aside, and tripped Lannister. Picking up Allards own blade, Rhodri knocked him unconcious.
All this time the two Northemn and the two Dornish men had been battling hard. Twice they had switched parters as they moved around men knocked out of the battle. The fight dragged on.
Then Rhodri Royce was there, and brained Gerard from behind with the flat of his blade. Dayne fell, but Rhodri had his spear in hand now.
Sand leapt away from Bolton as Redspear attacked him. Bolton and Dustin charged after him swinging. Dustin recieved a crack across his jaw for his effot, but Bolton hit the Royce.
Sand launched himself forward as Redspear turned to fight, and hit the man from behind. Lord Rhodri stumbed to the groun hard.
Dustin, and Bolton attacked as one. Blades flew, and Sand fell back, and back. Sand slipped, and started to fall. Bolton lunged, but it was a feint. Sand struck the flayed man hard, Brandon tumbled to the ground, his arms wrapping around the elusive Sand.
Dustin leapt forward, and landed a crushing blow to the trapped Sand, and won the Melee.

Ramsay was dragged out of the way of the scrambling melee by his relatives, and brought back to waken life with a splash of water.
"Dustin!"The Flints yelled triumphantly, "For the North!"

Ser Jon was helped to his feet by a still groggy looking Ser Othor Crabb. "You did alright for an old man" he guffawed as he slapped the man on the shoulder. "I can't believe some poxy whoreson of a hedge knight got me. I'll have to find that man and offer him a job. Or cut his balls off, I haven't decided!" he laughed again as he handed Jon a wineskin obtained, which appeared to have been dropped by one of the Redwynes.
