"No," Summer replied succinctly. "I'm sorry but, it's our product. It's the best of its kind, and it will be sold by us, or people we choose to represent us. We can do a percentage on profits, but we won't turn over product."

Nedrick shook his head, "I own three stores. They will sell your product, and one fifth of all their procedes will return to me. And One fifth from every store you open in King's Landing based on the numbers from the stores my men run."
Lily said, "One in ten is too high, let alone one in twenty."
Nedrick thought a moment, and looked at Summer to see if she agreed.

"Lily is right," Summer frowned. "We would prefer to do business in King's Landing, but if we can NOT afford to, then we shall have to go elsewhere."

Nedrick eyed them, and smiled, "Name your number then so I have an idea of what you are thinking."

Summer looked to Lily for a suggestion.

"One in thirty." She said, "They are Lords after all Nedrick, and you made a promise to the Beetle."
Nedrick laughed, and looked at Lily, "Never do business with ex-lovers. They know you too well. Deal." He glanced at Summer as he finished that.

Summer noted it. "I trust Lily's judgment, one in thirty. And no running up your figures falsely and then trying to strong arm us into paying more later."

Nedrick smiled, "Of course not. I may be a muderer, but I keep honest books." He winked, and said, "Lily, as one old friend to another, Stay away from Ser Harriston. He has a new owner now, and the Cyclops wants things straight in the capital." He motioned for them to leave.

Summer nodded, and hewed close to Lily on their way out.

Lily walked out more with a resolute step, and took Summer's hand, "Do not worry, he really is not that bad. He never kills a man unless he is backed into a corner. And only a very few woman ever."

"I'm not worried about him killing me," Summer replied. "and if he did, he'd die for it, whether he runs a criminal empire in King's Landing or on the face of the Moon. One thing we Flints do well is revenge. So Piers knows what that man in there does, and he lets it go does he?"

Lily looked at her askance, "Do not call him that he is either Lord Bettly or the Beetle." She shivered, "Now that man is a killer true and true. Him and that Wild Dog killed off the entire Bottomsmen, in one night."

"I've met Lord Piers, and I know he's a killer, though I'm sure plenty of silly little girls think he's a darling, more fool they," Summer replied, "And you didn't answer my question. The Crown allows this villain to do what he does?"

"What do you mean the Cyclops?" She asked curiously, "He wants less crime, or at least quiet crime."

"So ordinary merchants have to give up their honestly earned money to thieves, and then half again in taxes to a king who allows it?" Summer said. She sniffed, "Not to mention doing harm to young ladies, and gods know what else to whom else."
Summer was on a rant now, "It's not bleeding right." She added, needlessly.
"You could have told Torrhen up in White Harbour that this is the stuff King's Landing is made of, and we'd be in Gultown now, and you'd not have had to see that wretched man. His snide little face. I wanted stab him straight in the eye. Cock-sucker." She added.
