After considerable study, there is the slightest of outlines of a man blowing into his hands.

Domeric held his sword at the ready. This wildling would have to die, for Domeric to sneak past, surely, but any commotion might betray Lance on the other side. Domeric decided to hold his place, waiting for the man to depart, or else some signal from Sands to begin the assault.

The man did not move. Just stood there. Domeric could hear the slow breaths the man drew, and once or twice he clapped a hand to keep it warm.

Domeric was growing nervous. Every moment he waited improved the chance of the man spying him. Still there had been no sign from Sands.
Domeric decided, he rose swiftly, and as quietly as he was able, grasped the man by the chin and sought to pull his head back and slit his throat, while dragging him out of sight.

As Domeric moved the man raised his hands to blow on them. Domeric ran his blade threw the man's fingers, and he screamed. A second later he was dead to Domeric's blade, but he could hear cries from the camp.

Domeric winced. That was not the way things were meant to be. Even so, it was what it was, Domeric tossed the man's corpse to the ground. He figured he'd have to move on the camp now. Domeric crouched low, and proceeded in towards the camp, he kept his eyes out for any wildlings coming out of their tents, armed or otherwise. Anyone who interfered with him would be cut down.

There was a loud crashing toward the camp, and a growl that was unmistakable bestial.

Domeric scanned quickly, looking for the beast loosed upon him. He kept his sword low, expecting the beast to come at him from the ground up.

A flicker of red skin in the moonlight, and the Bog Bear was upon him. It lurched and roared at the man's legs. Domeric cut him across the face, but was knocked head over hells as the bear screamed in pain, and charged through him.

Domeric tumbled, and struggled to reach his feet again, and bring his blade back up to protect himself from another charge of the beast.

Domeric threw up his blade, and pierced the beasts shoulder. It roared in pain and leaped back. The blade stayed locked in his joint. The bear pawed at it, turning in circles.

OOC: Does that mean the blade is out of Domeric's hand now? If so proceed as below. if not let me know and i'll edit.
Domeric drew his dagger, and cursed, before lunging in to stab the beast repeatedly about the head and neck, seeking to bring as much bloody carnage to the thing as he could while the thing was distracted.

The bear swiped at Domeric, but but missed since he was missing proper balance. The dagger pierced the man artery in the creastures neck on the second stab. It went down twitching.

Domeric sighed relief. reacquiring his sword by putting his foot on the beasts head and yanking, he scanned the area for more threats, and then moved further into the village looking for where his brother's were kept.

He could hear steel on steel back toward the camp, and boots charging closer.
