Summer winked and waved at Helyn.

She approached. 'Lady Summer, Lady Isolde, Ser Mark.' she greeted

Mar's tunic bulged from the bandages he wore. He smiled politely at Summer, glanced at Ioslde as he thought of a suitable lie to tell that would satisfy both. He was about to respond when Helyn arrived and he cursed inwardly, not knoiwing that Helyn was acquainted with Summer. Isolde, clearly. was not.
"Greetings, Summer," he said. "It's pleasant to see you again. This is Isolde. Greetings, Lady Helyn. It's good to see you again."
Isolde smiled at Summer.
"So you are Helyn's friend? I didn't know you were acquainted with Mark as well. I'm Isolde, his wife."
Isolde didn't see Mark flinch but Summer and Helyn could.

Summer heard the word wife, and her smile grew noticeably larger. "Really. Ser Mark did not tell me he had a wife, I had assumed you were his beautiful much younger sister" She chuckled. "Your injuries are set to fully recover, I hope," she asked Mark.

Isolde looked from one to the other in confusion. She didn't quite understand what was happening here.
"I'm much better, thank you," Mark said. "I have only the one sister and she is at Sunspear. She's older than me, too."
"How did you meet Mark" Isolde asked. "It seems he meets more people than he tells me about."

"Walking along the street outside my inn," Summer replied, "I suppose i appeared lost, and Mark very graciously agreed to give me my own personal tour of the city. Then we supped at a very quaint little tavern. It was nice, except for the unfortunate ending."

"It was very charming of Mark to help you," said Isolde. "It's good to know he is as gallant as a knight in the songs. So that was the day of the accident. ~How distressing for you? Did you witness the whole thing?"
Mark tried to signal to Summer behind Isolde's back that she should be careful what she said.

"Yes of course, I had to watch that nasty man smashed poor Mark something awful," Summer said, "Truly brutal. Of course I yelled at him to stop, but for some reason he was absolutely convinced that Mark had said or done something untowards with his sister. As good as the food and ale was, you'd not have thought it was that kind of pub, that drunks like that would be allowed in."

"Oh indeed, I never had any trouble like that in that establishment before, and it's the one I have always gone to. I will be sure not to go there again," Mark said with determination. "Of course, Isolde, you may be sure I did nothing to offend the man's sister, but he would insist that I had. I'd never even met the man before that day."
"Oh, I believe you, husband."
Isolde looked at Summer.
|"Mark never told me he met you, but Helyn told me that she likes you very much. Your dress is very pretty. So is yours, Helyn. I wonder, shall we send Mark off to talk to the men and have a girls' talk while we wait for the Court session to begin?"

"I don't know, I think Mark rather prefers to talk to pretty young ladies," Summer replied, pausing a beat or two before adding, "He's far too cultured for the rather dull talk of tourneys and fighting that the other men discuss."

Mark grinned and bowed to Summer.
"You're too kind, truly. Though I do enjoy tourneys as much as any man. But we Dornish are raised to value other pleasures too."

"So lady Helyn, how do you know these troublesome dornish," Summer asked turning to the Stormlander girl.

Helyn looked up. 'I met Isolde in the hallways the other day, she was kind enough to show me some of the marvels of the red keep.'
