"But not a legal widow? Would a woman not be able to marry again if her husband took the black?" Triston wondered.

"Do I look like the lord commander to you? What you asking me fer?" he replied.

"You seemed like you knew what the Wall is like," Triston replied. "My apologies if that's not the case. The Wall isn't so far away for you Northmen, I thought mayhaps you had been visited by black brothers or even gone to see the Wall yourself. And..." He lowered his voice. "I'm wondering if the Wall might be the best place for Mark, but it would be monstrous cruel to encourage it while his wife is so young and healthy and might give him many children, epecially if she could not wed another. Tell me, are you all going North again after this tourney is done?"

"Yeah as far as Widow's Watch," Tormund confirmed.

"I wonder..."
He glanced sideways to make sure Mark had not remarked their conversation, but Mark was busy with his drink.
"Could you take Mark with you, and mayhaps myself as his companion, and we could then progress further up the Kingsroad by ourselves? A visit to the Wall might serve as a salutory lesson, I'd think. I'm of a mind to do it anyway, but the journey would be all the better if we travelled with a larger party."

Lord Harris Bolton arrived in the main room of the Prattling Pony, Benjen Snow and four guardsmen with him. He inquired as to the whereabouts of lord Wyman Flint.

Triston grinned.
"Good, I'll arrnge it. I really don't want a repetition of this situation. Not everyone would invite us to have a drink with them after."
Mark looked up, sullen, his the blood drying on his face though he'd managed to wipe his hands clean.
"What are you whispering about, brother?"
"Nothing," said Triston with a seemingly innocent smile. Mark sighed and looked around at the Flints with a wary glint in his eye.
"This is good ale," Mark said. "My...uh...thanks. I'll be sure to tell my lady mother o fthis hospitality. You might want to keep an eye on the girl, though. I remember now, this is the place I met her."

Tormund scowled, "We're staying in this inn," Tormund replied, "That's why you saw her here."

A man staggered into the tavern, two men in his wake. He made a beeline for the bar.
"Good sir!" he said with exaggerated exuberance. "Ale, for me and my two friends," he smiled.

"Oh, no doubt," Mark said. "But if I were you I'd keep her close. I know I would, in your place. Not every lord of the realm would be as willing to please you as my lady mother."
Triston rolled his eyes and prepared to make a swift departure if Mark couldn't control himself.

Tormund promptly smashed Mark in the face with a pewter flagon.
"Get him the fuck out of here." He growled at Triston. "And if you send him to The Wall, do it by Eastwatch by the Sea, cause any Flint who catches him alone on the Kingsroad, is like to slit his throat and leave him there."

Only Benjen remains with him and together they walk over to Wyman's table. "Lord Flint," Harris said with a nod.

The man in Frey clothing turns to one of his companions. "Told ye! Nobody likes the Dornish," he grinned stupidly. OOC: Frey this is taking place behind the Tavern in the alley out back. Your character is NOT present.
