'No, we do not, i dont know where father gets our wine from i am afraid, i just drink it for him.,' she giggled

[Marie]

"Oh, that's the best way, of course. I will help you in that. I'm very fond of wine."

She looked mischievously at Helyn over the top of her wineglass.

"Have you ever been drunk, Helyn?"

[Helyn Caron]

'No, my father is quite mean and stops me before i have the chance to experience that.'

[Marie]

The Dornish girl's grin turned wicked.

"Your father's not here now. I tell you what, we will arrange an evening when Mark is busy and we'll have a night together and get drunk. It will be fun."

[Helyn Caron]

'She giggled. 'I should indeed like that.'

[Marie]

"Good. I'll sort it out. Night time is better. We don't want to get you drunk during the day. We need to make some more friends here, then we can invite someone else to join us."

[Helyn Caron]

'Yes i quite agree.' She chuckled. 'you have me quite excited.'

[Marie]

"Do I? Good. You're young, you should be excited, and it will be good to have a friend. I never had any sisters so you can help me make up for the loss."

She winked and sipped her wine.

She smiled. 'Likewise, as i said neither have i, i only have my brothers.'

[Marie]

"Then it sems perfect, as if we were meant to find one another. I like that. It's almost like a song, isn't it?"

[Helyn Caron]

'Indeed, i am glad i have found someone to get on so well with.'

[Marie]

"And I. Men aren't the same. They like to do their own thing. So...how shall we go about finding more friends?"

[Helyn Caron]

"I had hoped you may know, I'm normally quite shy and don't male friends so well."

[Marie]

"Oh...that could be a problem. I've been here a little while and not made any friends yet. Except you. But Mark and I are supposed to be making connections among the court and I'm a little puzzled how to begin. I suppose we should go and see when the King's court is in session and talk to any other ladies who arrive to watch."

'Yes, maybe we could go together, i may no feel quite so shy then.'
