'Nothing is wrong with it, it's just nice for the change of scenery.'

"As you say. I wonder if the ghosts might be where they keep the dragon skulls," Isolde mused. "We could go there, unless you are frightened of dead dragons?"

She giggled. 'Not in the least, i think that would be quite an adventure indeed.'

"Then let's go. And if we find no ghosts I shall tell you a story about a dragon. That's the sigil of my husband's house. Mark's brother Triston told it to me one day before we left Ghost Hill."

'I should like to hear that.' she smiled putting her arm out for Isolde to link

Isolde put her arm through Helyn's and led her confidently down the hallway until they reached a room filled with dragon skulls. She took her right to the end, to the biggeest skull.
"This one is Balerion, the Black Dread. They say he is the biggest dragon who ever lived. I wonder if dragons have ghosts?"

"Mayhaps we shall see one," Isolde said with a laugh. "See the next skull, that's Vhagar, and then Meraxe."
She walked up to the mouth of Balerion's skull and stepped inside.
"Coming, Helyn?"

"Don't let Balerion bite you," Isolde teased.
She stood between the two giant fangs as if they were columns leading into the entrance of a great castle and her eyes sparkled irreverently. She wave,d and disappeared as she turned and stepped further into the great skull.

Isolde wandered aout inside the confined spae of the skull then turned to wave and smile.
"It's really quite amusing. you know," she said, as she walked back to the fangs. "It's so amazing to think that Balerion could swallow me whole - easily - if he'd been alive now. Not that it would be amusing if he were alive, but you know..."
She giggled and jumped down onto the floor, landing lightly.
"I never saw any ghosts, not even the people that Balerion must have swallowed or burned. Pity. There's just something about this place. It intrigues me. A dragon can cause so much more trouble than an entire army."

She smiled. 'They looked like they were quite magnificent creatures in deed.'

"So they do. When I was a girl I liked the story of King Jaehaerys and Queen Alysanne riding to the Wall on their dragons, but I suppose it's good they're all dead. Shall we try looking for ghosts elsewhere?"
