"Ah, mayhaps it is," Mark agreed.
The food was brought in, a variety of Dornish dishes, with a flagon of Dornish red to wash it down. There was water too.
"You'll need the water to mix with the wine," Isolde explained. "You'll probably want to drink a lot bcause Dornish food can take you by surprise if you're not used to it."
She began to serve up portions of a fish and pepper stew.

Helyn smiled. "thank you, this looks quite lovely indeed."

"Taste it," Isolde urged, as she gave Helyn the first portion.
She filled up the wine glasses with a mixture of wne and water. Mark was grinning out of all proportion to the event; clearly he was waiting for Helyn to be shocked by the heat of the dish.

Helyn tried some of the food, the heat on her Tongue shocking her slightly but her face did not betray her

Mark seemed slightly disappointed by her reaction but Isolde was smiling as she spooned up her own meal.
"What do you think?" She asked.

"that indeed is not what I expected, I quite feel someone has set a fire on my tongue." she giggled. "it is indeed a pleasant taste."

"I'm pleased you like it. There's a crab dish next, with a spicy sauce. We eat fish a lot in Dorne, more so than we do beef and mutton and the like. Ah, and then capon in a lemon sauce," Isolde revealed. "But that one isn't spicy. I hear you Andals think we put spices on everything, but it's not true. We like to have some things that aren't spicy. And after, we've iced sherbert for you to try."
She finished her stew and grinned.
"I'll bet we seem awfully decadent to you?"

'It sounds delicioous.' she said before taking a drink of wine. 'I do enjoy trying new foods.'

"Good. One day I'll see if we can get you an invitation to Ghost Hill for a proper feast," Isolde said happily.
Mark shot her a warning look which Isolde blithely ignored, saying "Do you have any special dishes in the Stormlands?"

She said a few dishes with a smiled. 'Nothing quite exotic as this though.'

"Ah,that seems exotic to you is quite normal to us. I have always been curious about eel pie, though. I hear that's a particular delicacy in the North. Have you ever had it?" Isolde asked.

"What is there to see in the North/" Isolde asked, sceptical.
"The Wall," Mark said with more interest. "And Winterfell. I always did wonder about the Wall, because we don't get ice down in Dorne. Which of those has caught your fancy, Lady Helyn?"

"But why, though? I don't think I could bear to be cold. I'm so used to the sun," Isolde confided. "I always thought there was nothing but trees and snow abobe the Neck. And the North is awfully big. Unless...Helyn...do you wish to marry a Northman?"
She giggled.
