Mark and Isolde's Chamber

[Marie]

"Oh. Why's that I've never met him," Isolde admitted.

[Helyn Caron]

'He is very creepy, i dont trust him.'

[Marie]

"WHy not? Is he one of those old men who makes your flesh crawl?"

[Helyn Caron]

'Yes, he is.' Helyn replied

[Marie]

"Oh. Then you absolutely musn't marry him. Marry this Ser Allard. He seems to please you much more, even from the little you have said. A Lannister is a better match, I think. Won't your father understand that?"

[Helyn Caron]

'I have only met him once.' Helyn giggled. 'Give me chance.'

[Marie]

"Well yes, but if you had to marry him or the Master of Whispers surely you would choose Lannister?"

[Helyn Caron]

'Yes, but it is not my choce, if my father thinks he will benifit better from Lord Victor it will be him i will have to marry.'

[Marie]

"I suppose so. I hate to say it, but what about your sister? Would shebe willing to marry the Master of Whispers in your place?"

[Helyn Caron]

'If father can find her,' She laughed. 'Heidi is very...she likes to get her own way.'

[Marie]

"But I thought you did too?" Isolde teased. "Your poor father, how does he manage with the two of you?"

[Helyn Caron]

She giggled. 'My sister is much worse, i can promise you that.'

[Marie]

"Oh. Gods help your father then. I wouldn't like to be in his shoes., I'd probably just let both of you mrary who you pleased."

[Helyn Caron]

'Yes, but that would be no use to my father.' She chuckled

[Marie]

"TRue enough,but this Ser Allard seems nice, and smome men are weak when it comes to their close kin. My father had a weakness when it came to my mother, though not so much me. I wasn't sure about Mark, truth be told, but had Mother objected to the match it would never have taken place. And Ser Uthor, Lady Viviane's brother, denies his daughters nothing they ask of him even though they are now women grown with husbands and families of their own."
