Stark laughed, "Is the bladderpipe made of what I think it is?" She played with her babe as she spoke, keeping him occupied.

Danny laughed, and stuck his tongue out slightly, "Aye milady, but its washed out first, so cringe not. Ohh, but it makes a haunting sound, it does," Danny said, "Nothing carries the same melancholy as a bladder pipe. Woman loved and loss, men gone to war and not come home, that's what the bladder-pipe sings to, for sure."

Lady Stark laughed, and said, "In White Harbor the bladder pipe brought a different kind of tear to a man." She chuckled, "I am so glad I have been allowed to explore the whole north, for i have found the White Harbor really is the least of it."

Danny smiled, "You'll forgive me for saying milady, but White Harbour is the first of the south, not the least of the North, begging your pardon." he strummed a note, "I've long had a feeling that the Old Gods put the Manderlys on this good green earth of ours to talk to the southrons so the rest of us don't have to. A thankless task, no doubt, but someone gotta do it."

Lady Stark laughed, "I have come to agree with you. I wish my folk could feel truly of the North... like I have come to. Unfortunately the only recourse would be the burning of their septs, and that would hurt us with the south."

Danny shrugged, "I can't say as to all that. I just know I never heard no gods whisper to me in no place of stone and timber. But atop the mountain, where you can see the Wall sweat on a clear summer day? I about believe you'd hear any seven gods as might have something to say."

Lady Stark smiled, "The second night I was here I could not sleep. I awoke, and walked through the Godswood, and saw the heart tree. I stared at it, and a breeze caught me up, and tried to knock me down. That tree saw me, and not just me, but my soul. Thats when I knew for sure there were more gods then just seven."

Danny smiled broadly, "One time... I was up on the hillside, tending the goats, and the moon was high in the sky, and I heard the trees whistling and rustling. And for a moment... just a moment. I understood what they were saying, Gods speaking through the trees," Danny said. "Just that one time, never happened since."

Lady Stark nodded, "I wish I could walk through the age of Legends and see all those legends first hand. The Children, the trees... maybe not the Others." She sighed.

Danny smiled and nodded, "My great-grandpa used to say, we all living in an age of heroes, just we ain't done nothing worth singing about...yet."

Lady Stark sighed, "Or ever." She tickled her son's belly.

"Well, you can't say as to that," Danny said, "I bet none of them great heroes expected a song. Fact I bet you go around expecting someone to write a song about you, you ain't no hero no how. But I've got a good feeling," He smiled and winked, "And I may just start composing a few words about this here babe, and his beautiful lady mother. Get a head start on all them fools, who only will know of 'm when he is a great warrior and leader a-men." He stretched out his finger to let the baby shake it, as if to say "we have a deal."

The baby leaned forward and bit his finger. Lady Stark looked embaressed, and pulled her son away, giving him a whap on the bottom.

Danny chuckled, "He truly is a wolf." he pulled his hands away.

Lady Stark blushed, and then she smiled, "Oh look my husband approaches." She motions to the door into the keep itself.
