It was several days after his first arrival in Winterfell. Danny sat in the Great Hall with a mug of ale, tuning his lute and picking the strings softly, humming to himself.

Lady Stark enters the great hall with her baby boy, seeing Danny she walks over to him and sits down. "How are you Danny? I am sorry I have not had a chance to speak with you."

Danny's lute gave a "twang," and he looked up with a smile, "Lady Stark, now that you are here, I am truly well." He smiled pleasantly, "Well hello there little fellow," he told the boy.

Lady Stark made the baby wave at Danny, "I am glad you are well. I have good news, my husband has returned, and should have time for you today."

"Oh, that's very good. Do you think you could do me a tiny favor?" Danny asked lowering his voice, and leaning forward and smiling at the baby as though he were speaking to it rather than Lady Stark, "and entertain Lady Anya, while I speak to milord?"

Lady Stark wrinkled her nose, "I would love to aid you, but she and I... well she would instantly suspect subterfuge if I tried to corner her for a discusion." She smiled, "But fear not my husband always has a private chat with Anya when he returns. I call them his Reports, then they stay apart for a day at least."

"I trust your judgment milady, I'm sure you know better than I." Danny said pleasantly, plucking his lute, "Might I play you something?"

Danny strummed his lute, and sang a soft song about a momma and her babe, and a father off to war.

Lady Stark smiled, and swayed her son gently to the music. She wiped away a little wetness from one eye, but help the babe clap for the song as he finished.

"if I might not be too bold, I'd say I have my first fan," Danny chuckled as the baby "clapped" with his mother's help. He adjusted the strings and picked up the tempo for a foot-tapping dance number, singing about a boy finishing his chores to go and meet his girl.

Stark smiled, and bobbed along again. "You are quite good she said, are they all as skilled as you in the highlands."

"None as skilled on the lute, If you'll permit a boast, although to really hear it played I'd need me uncle on the bladderpipe and maybe fella on the hand-drum." Danny says, bowing his head at the compliment.
