"It's The Stark's sister, Lady Melinda, is marrying Greyjoy." grunted Hother from the back.

"Greyjoy..." Jon muttered, his eyes wandering about the hall. "One would wonder if that is a wise alliance. The honourable direwolf and the raiding kraken - a match made in the heavens." He raised an eyebrow. "But which? To give a beautiful girl away to those... well, now I am being precipitous."

"Don't rightly know what that means," Ryam replied, "But I think I take your meaning."

Mors Dustin observed the conversation between Flints and Flayed Men and, never having before met Lord Bolton decided to wander over, son in tow. Waiting for a lull in the conversation he spoke to Lord Benjen, "Lord Flint, these must be your relatives?"

Jon smiled. "I guess we'll have to see once the Greyjoys and their men arrive. Who knows, perhaps they are good men such as ourselves. Until that time... I will remain cautious."

"Good men they might be," Ryam said.
"But not like ourselves," added Lord Benjen.

Jon laughed again and looked up at the newcomers.

Benjen stood, "Indeed. Some of them Lord Mors. This is my wife's brother Danny Flint, his father Ryam, and his father Lord Brandon Flint."
All the men nodded respectfully. "That's Hother, Ryam's brother, and their wives, Erena and Tamara."
"And that's Hother's boy Quent. Also, a Bolton," he said, gesturing towards Jon.

"Jon Bolton, second son to Lord Harris." Jon said with a polite nod to Mors Dustin.

"Well met." he offered to Flints and Boltons. "Lord Mors Dustin of Barrowton, and this is my eldest son, Hallis." He paused for a moment, "Will your Lord Father be making his way to Winterfell for the proceedings, Jon?"

"Unfortunately not." Jon replied, his voice apologetic. "My father finds the Dreadfort awfully comfortable and... well, he isn't the type of man who goes to weddings. Though my brother Brandon may attend."

"Hm," Mors grunted. "Indeed." Changing subjects, he said, "Well, I'm sorry to have interrupted here, but it seems you were discussing the matter of the Ironmen."

Benjen nodded, "My father-in-law was saying about the lady Melinda being the one to marry Greyjoy, and were wondered what the Ironborn are expecting as a wedding present from the deal."

Mors nodded. "That is the question. And... also what does our Lord Stark intend to gain? It surely cannot be just the marrying of his sister."

The Flint nodded at this observation, and his kin did likewise.
"Just so," said Ryam.
