On a lonely peninsula in the far east of the region, lies Widow's Watch, a tower, where Lord Wyman Flint makes his home. The largest of the three Flint families, Lord Flint is a true Lord in his own right. From the high tower, they can see the ships sinking in the common Northern squalls, from which the keep gets its name.

Lord Wyman Flint, his wife Leona, his sons Tormund and Alfyn, Tormund's true-blood sons Ramsay and Alfyn's son Ryk, and the bastard Summer Snow set out towards White Harbor, looking for a galley to take them to King's Landing for the Tourney.

The party arrives at Widow's Watch, a tall round stone tower, that is built right up on the edge of a tiny peninsula, that seems almost to hang off the edge of the land. Off into the water, is the swirling of ugly grey waves crashing against the cliffs.

Summer smiled, "You're too kind dear," Summer replied as servants headed out, and began unloading the carts.
"It's probably a bit tighter than you're used to. I hope you don't mind sharing space?"

"Then let me show you to our room," Summer said, as they made their way inside.
Summer's room was near the very top, in a drafty portion of the tower not given much attention.
"It's a bit dumpy, but its my favorite place," she said, "and no one wanted to fight me for it, so I get to stay here, and enjoy the view." She said, gesturing at the ocean.

Summer giggled, "You are far too kind." She flopped down in her feather bed.
"The servants will bring up a bed for you when they get everything squared," she said.
