Character Name: Ser Beric Dayne
Character's Age: 20 (b. 578)
Character's House: Dayne
Character's House Sworn to: House Martell of Sunspear
Character Reputation: The Sword of the Morning
Character Skills
Expert: Sword Noteworthy: Lance Noteworthy: Land Battle Apprentice: Hand to hand combat Apprentice: Animal Handling Novice: Braavosi Novice: Dancing Beginner: Charm Beginner: Archery
Character Personal History: Beric Dayne was born the second son of Lord Euric Dayne and Princes Alysanne Targaryen. He was a soft and lovable child, and was very close to his mother. She died when he was a boy of five, and he was distraught for the better part of a year, scarcely willing to do anything besides mope. Eventually, he was healed of his childish grief by time, and grew into a good natured youth, enjoying the outdoors and all activities that involved anything besides sitting about. He was an apt hunter from a young age, and took to the sword with a natural grace that belied his age, and enjoyed the Braavosi lessons he received, although, he did not pursue them beyond a basic knowledge of the language, which he understands better than he speaks.
As he grew older, he began to appreciate his father more, and would spend hours sitting and speaking of battle and generalship, and simply enjoying the tales the man could tell. He spent his time split between Kings Landing and Starfall, enjoying both places nearly equally. He enjoys the company of his older sister Lavinya, though he takes merciless pleasure in giving her trouble. He ribs her and nags her, and is a general pain in her ass, enjoying every moment.
His time in Kings Landing was very enjoyable to the handsome youth, as he had a perfect opportunity to pursue his two highest pleasures: fighting and chasing after women. His father’s connections insured that he was given only the very finest instruction with the sword, training with men like Ser Owen Lannister (whom he respects highly, as like Beric, he stands to inherit no lands) to say nothing of his famous father. The city also gave him more than ample opportunity to enjoy the loveliness of women, which he took full advantage of.
He still travels back to Starfall reasonably often, though he now spends much of his time traveling with the King’s Court, seeing all that the Kingdom has to offer and living the life that any young man dreams of, moving from woman to woman, without ever needing worry about running out of strong drink. He has many friends among the men of court, and thoroughly enjoys his life.
Character Physical Description: Beric is tall and handsome, inheriting his silver hair from both sides of his lineage, which he wears of middling length, just above his shoulders. He stands around six foot two inches, with a lean and athletic frame. His eyes are a very dark purple and normally show exactly how he is feeling. His face is very expressive, which his mother had told him as a boy showed a lack of self discipline, and his thoughts are often given away without a single word.

1) Character Name: Ser Mors Ladybright
2) Character's Name Year (Age): 578 (age 19)
3) Character's House: Ladybright
4) Character's House Sworn to: Ladybright, Lannister through that
5) Character Reputation: A young, unproven knight.
6) Character Skills
Expert: Longaxe Noteworthy: Riding, Lance Apprentice: Charm, Land Battle Novice: Dance, Bow Beginner: Unarmed, Harp, Small Blades, Intrigue
7) Character's Second
I'll get to that.
8) Character's Followers:
That too.
9) Character Personal History:
Mors was born some nine months after the conquest of Pyke, the son of Lady Obara Ladybright and one of the knights who helped to 'liberate' the islands. He was killed in later fighting, and so Mors was born a bastard. However, Obara's long friendship with the queen insured that Mors would be legitimized.
After his mother's marriage to Ivan Grandison, Mors grew up at Grandview, and Grandison is the only father he's ever known. Except, perhaps, for Ser (To be added), for whom Ladybright spent several years squiring. Just a year ago, Mors earned his spurs, and as a reward his mother granted him stewardship of her lands in the West and Brightkeep.
Meaning he leaves the actual ruling to the maester, while most of his time is spent at court, either at Casterly Rock or King's Landing. Far better than some provincial castle, don't you think?
10) Character Physical Description:
Mors is of a dark complexion, seeming to take after his mother. But his beard grows in thick, unlike most Dornishmen, and his black hair is unruly. He keeps both groomed as immaculately as he can manage. Again, he is larger than the average Rhoynar, presumably owing to his father's blood.

He did not spend many years at the Red Keep, as soon he was seperated from his family and sent to take his place as lord of the Eyrie as a show of faith to the other lords of the Vale, who chaffed with the presence of a Targaryen in their most ancient keep. At age 10 he left the Eyrie and was sent to squire for one of his Queen Mother's close friends, Ser Euric Dayne. Maeker served Ser Euric dutifully for seven years, but the knight sometimes had the sense of something not quite right with Maekar. However, that did not stop the usual bond forming between his knight and, with Euric becoming almost the father Maekar had never had.
At age seventeen Maekar earned his knighthood and returned to the Eyrie. Upon ascending to lordship in proper now that he was truely a man, he took for his personal sigil, and that of his house, a single blue dragon on a white field, earning him the byname "The Blue Dragon". Character Physical Description

Deep, purple eyes, that seem to stare more than merely just look at things. A thin mouth which only seems to grow thinner as Maekar gets older. A wide jaw and prominent, regal cheekbones, and thin eyebrows on a tall forehead.

Name: Quentyn Nymeros Targaryen Age: 24 (b. 574)
Skills: Expert Espionage Noteworthy Persuasion Noteworthy Deception Apprentice Small Blades Apprentice Political Intrigue Novice Athletics Novice Poisons Beginner Charm Beginner Language (Free Cities)
Physical Description: Fickle genetics have left Quentyn with neither the ethereal beauty of the Targaryen line nor the dusky features of House Martell. Quentyn's features are regular, though not particularly dashing or handsome. His eyes are a murky brown, and his skin is just dark enough for it to appear as though he has a slight tan. His hair is dark and usually kept tied back out of his way.
Quentyn is shorter than average and has a slight build, but he is deceptively quick. He rarely wears armor, and though he has a sword for appearances' sake, no one can remember the last time he drew it in anger.
History: Fate had never been kind to Quentyn. His mother, Liliyana Targaryen, sister to the Queen, was executed for regicide when Quentyn was but an infant. His father, Martyne Martell, already disowned by his family, drank himself to death shortly after. The orphan of a murderess and a pariah, Quentyn's prospects did not look good, royal blood or not.
Neither House Targaryen nor Martell was so cold-hearted to let the boy starve, however, and Quentyn always had an adequate stipend throughout his childhood. Queen Rhaenys was particularly generous, and always had a spare moment for the youth. Even so, the Queen was constantly busy running the realm, and house Martell made it clear that they had more important things to do than rear a child only peripherally involved in the line of succession. And so Quentyn was raised by and large in the rough company of the handful of guardsmen who were still loyal to his parents' memory.
Most of Quentyn's childhood and teenage years were spent travelling from place to place, spending a year at the red keep, then a few months at Sunspear, and then a few more at the King's Court, and then more wherever any would host him. He even spent a year or two abroad.
It was on his eighteenth nameday that Quentyn decided to cease being a nuisance to his family and become an asset. His skills were modest; he was no battlefield leader, and his skill with a blade was suspect. But he found work in the cracks, taking on small but necessary duties; diplomatic missions, negotiating with lords, and other less savory jobs... jobs no King or Prince could dirty themselves with, but those too important to trust to anyone other than family...
Reputation: It is a rare man who would recognize Quentyn's name, and a rarer man still who could pick him out of a crowd.

Name: Lord Gerard Cuy Nationality: Far Reachman Age: 31 (b. 568)
Skills: Expert Spear Noteworthy Land Battle Noteworthy Political Intrigue Apprentice Law Apprentice Animal Handling Novice Athletics Novice Fortifications Beginner History Beginner Stewardship
Physical Description: Gerard Cuy is a man whose youthful appearance belies his years and experience. The fair haired Lord of Sunhouse wears a severe, unamused look, his impenetrable eyes and inscrutable countenance giving little away. A light beard dusts a strong jaw and thin slash of a mouth, and broad muscles born of diligent practice are obvious beneath clothes that speak of functionality rather than fashion.
History: The smallfolk of Sunhouse rumor that when Gerard Cuy was born, he let not a single wail escape his lips nor tear stain his cheeks, but instead looked the his father, maester, and mother in the eye in turn, and sternly requested to be cleaned up. However much of this is true is open to debate, but the fact remains that from an early age, Gerard was a serious, self-sufficient child. Maester's tomes and historical texts took the place of fairy tales and picture books, cakes and sweets replaced by early mornings and rigorous studies.
At age ten, Gerard's lord father was slain by a boar while on a hunting expedition. Perhaps there are few who remember the look on Gerard's face when he heard the news, and even fewer could have recall his sentiments, but in the following day, when the Lady Cuy spoke at her husband's funeral and stated that she would act as regent for her son until he came of age, all would remember the words the ten year old spoke: “No mother, I need not a mother, nor a woman, nor any other person to rule my lands for me. I am lord now. Sunhouse is mine.”
And lord he was. For twenty-one years, Gerard has ruled over Sunhouse with austere efficiency. At age thirteen he personally began to drill the guard himself, whetting the blade for a strong military force. What few engagements the Far Reach participated in, Lord Gerard always rode at the head of his troops and eliminated the foe with neither mercy nor quarter given.
At sixteen, Gerard fathered his first and only child. The bastard girl was named Rachel, and given a place in the Sunhouse, as was her mother (the daughter of a knight of mild repute). Rachel Flowers was granted all the privileges and amenities warranted by living in a castle, as though she were a trueborn child. The girl is now fifteen, and Gerard just past thirty, and the parade of failed Lords of the Far Reach has gnawed annoyingly at the Lord Cuy's patience. The time has come for a worthy man to take the responsibility, where others have been too weak to do so.
Reputation: Cuy, though a capable lord, tactician, and warrior, is a no nonsense, unsociable man of little warmth who holds no small amount of disdain for the incapable, weak, and dishonorable.

Character Name: Megguchin, Son of Ozyn, born 581 (age 18) Character's House: The Bearded Men Clan Character Reputation: The only son of the great warrior Ozyn, blood brother and right hand of the Chieftain of the Bearded Men, Kanoket.
Character Skills: Expert - Sword Expert - Bow Noteworthy - Riding Noteworthy - Survival Apprentice - Battle Novice - Spear Novice - Athletics Beginner - Unarmed Combat Beginner - Charm
Physical Description: A strong youth, very large for his people. Wears a beard as do all the members of his clan, but being young that beard is not yet glorious.
Background: Megguchin is the only son born of the union of Ozyn and Malita, who died giving birth to him. Ozyn is the Second of the Bearded Men and known among all for his skill at arms and ferocity in battle. After the death of Malita, Ozyn took his slain brother's wife, Unisep, into his household. That union bore no children but brought Megguchin a step brother (and cousin), Iggulden. Megguchin fed of the milk of Unisep's breast, and so he and Iggulden shared a bond as milk-brothers. The boys grew up together in the way of the Bearded Men, a Clan from the deepest and remote parts of the Mountains of the Moon. The clan is a hard people living a hardscrabble nomadic existence. They are surrounded by other such clans, and minor skirmishes and fights are a common feature of that environment. They train their boys from a young age in what military arts they may, based on the talents of those boys. Those of average skill or physical talents are taught primarily in the use of spear, javelin, and shield. Those of greater skill are raised upon a horse (one of those nimblefooted small horses of the mountains) and those with great strength are raised to make use of the composite bow constructed from the horns of mountain goats and the glue made from dead horses. A boy trained in the use of bows will start with long selfbows used for hunting until that day they should complete the Meisfrith, or coming of age ceremony, upon which day they are given a composite bow. The composite bow itself is an item of great worth due to the extensive labor required for its construction, and it would be a dishonor greater than that of losing a horse to lose the bow. Megguchin and Iggulden are both of that warrior caste trained both in the use of bows and horses. Other than the expectations of great bloodlines in the clan, and the death of brother and wife that brought them under the same roof, there is little of distinction to note in their upbringing.
