This is the character I've chosen to replace Alexius (who I bumped down to NPC status a week ago). He has skills that were reached as per an agreement with the Smith (one skill much higher than most starting skills in exchange for the loss of several).
1) Character Name: Lord Jarmen Buckwell
2) Character Age: 26 (born 495 AC)
3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): Crownlands/Dorne
4) Character Byname: The Buckwell Bull, The Beast of Antlers, Lord of Antlers, The Knight of Silver Song
5) Second Character Skills (Choose 1 beginner skill, 1 novice skill, 1 apprentice skill, and 1 noteworthy skill):
Grandmaster Axemanship Apprentice Singing Apprentice Battle Command Novice Stewardship Beginner Horseriding Beginner Ambushing
Improved Battle Command in "All Together Now"
7) Character Personal History: Born to Lord Taylor Buckwell and Princess Josephine Martell (of a cadet branch) in the second year of King Rodrick's reign-- Jarmen was always of an unusually large size. He squired for his maternal uncle, Prince Mathias Martell, up until the age of seventeen when he was knighted as a bribe after being the only witness to his uncle's acts of adultery (a long and awkward story he cares never to repeat again). At eighteen years of age he had a brief stint as the acting Lord of Antlers as he father marched with Aedon Targaryen. Letting his pride and oath to the throne overrule his senses, Taylor died fighting for the Bloody King against Kid Death. Lord Jarmen has infrequent occurances in which he pledges that he will avenge his father's death, but most of these are made while he is drunk. Lord Jarmen has two bastard children by his mistress, a woman kept from the public eye. The two (named Jesse and Claudia) are being raised at Antlers as part of the ruling family despite their bastard status.
8) Character Physical Description: Extraordinarily tall, Jarmen is also of a big build with enough strength in him to swing some of the heaviest weapons known to Westeros-- with ease. He has wild hair that is often found most impressive to behold, hair that has grown out and down in curls. He is commonly found attractive by the young women of Antlers, for he is both very tall, and has dark skin like his Martell mother.
9) Character Reputation: Jarmen is widely recognized as the largest knight in the Crownlands, and one of the most skillful as well. He is also widely regarded as a very good singer, and earned a bynamed associated with this.

1) Character Name: Aemon Bittersteel
2) Character Age: 33
3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): Valyria
4) Character Byname: Aemos Dracarys, the name he goes by
5) Character Skills:
Expert: Shortsword Noteworthy: Unarmed combat, Charisma Apprentice: Two-handed fighting, Javelin Novice: Knife fighting, Management Beginner: Political Intrigue
6) Character's Second, Richard Mormont, called "The Andal Bear":
Noteworthy: Axe, Command Apprentice: Lance, Foreign Languages Novice: Mercantile, Riding Beginner: Crossbow, throwing axe
7) Character Personal History:
On the eve of battle when the Golden Company was preparing to storm the stepstones, Aemon, then only 18, found his ship separated in a storm. Washing up on an island in the Narrow Sea he spent several days there before being captured by a slave-barge bound for Yunkai. Stripped and beaten the memory of his old life was all but erased but for a few memories an a small efigee of the Warrior that the slave traders allowed him to keep.
Arriving in Yunkai he was thrust into the gladiatorial training camps. Enduring brutal excercises and punishing overseers the remanent of House Bittersteel was slowly transformed into a hardened warrior. Try as they might however, the trainers were never able to completely erase Aemon's heritage. He slowly took on a new name, gaining popularity for his mercy in the gladiatorial pits. Aemos Dracarys was a brutally efficient warrior, giving no quarter to those who opposed him. However, once an opponent was beaten, Aemos became the best of friends, more than once helping a former enemy regain his feet. From this he became known as the unofficial leader of the gladiators in Yunkai, and increasingly fighters were brought in from other places. They only met an organized fighting force of warriors.
At age 27 another man was tossed into the ring. A bit of an oddity the man became known as the Andal Bear. Wearing the tattered remains of a breastplate with a bear on the front. He defeated all who came to him, save Aemos. When the Valyrian gladiator helped the man to his feet the knight immediately recognized him and fell to his knees. Slightly abashed Aemos told him to rize, that he was no Master, or King to be bowed to. But the man simply said, "I know from which house you come."
8) Character Physical Description:
Aemon is scarred, with a broken nose, but he still bares the typical Targaryen looks, silver hair and indigo eyes. He has the body and the stance of a gladiator, and stands at around 6'0". He wears a smile on a his face as readily as a shortsword at his waist. A certain brutality lies behind his eyes however, and though he is indeed merciful, he does not shy from killing when necessary.
9) Character Reputation:
Aemon has a reputation as a famed fighter in the gladiatorial pits of Yunkai. This has made him wildly popular among the commons, but feared and distrusted by the aristocracy, who fear that he will one day revolt against him. Few know his true name, save the Ten, Aemon's closest friends.

1) Character Name: Pylos the Apostate (Formerly Septon Walder Frey)
2) Character Age: 47
3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): The Trident
4) Character Byname: The Apostate
5) Character Skills (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, and 2 noteworthy skills and 1 expert skill):
6) Character's Second (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, and 2 noteworthy skills):
Beginner Higher Mysteries Beginner Riding Novice History Novice Sword Apprentice Oration Apprentice Persuasion Noteworthy Theology Noteworthy in the Mysteries of Fire and Shadow
7) Character Personal History: Pylos was born Walder Frey, one of Lord Goldfinger’s many cousins. A very dedicated follower of the Seven, he became a full Septon at a very young age. A few in the Riverlands even hoped to place one of their own on the High Septon’s throne oneday, but alas, Walder had other ideas…
When he was 27, Walder begged his cousin Goldfinger to arrange for a trip to the Free Cities. There, the young septon hoped to convert new souls to the Seven. Instead, Walder found himself the changed man, when he encountered the red priests and their extraordinary miracles no pyromancer had performed in more than half a millennium. Was this the power of God? Was the Faith nothing but a mummer’s scam performed by old men?
Twenty years later, a man known simply as Pylos the Apostate will arrive in Gulltown, a red robed missionary hoping to convert new followers to the Lord of Light...
8) Character Physical Description: Of average height and strong build, Pylos is a beacon of red. Going so far as to dye his brown hair a vibrant scarlet, Pylos proudly marks himself as a red priest wherever he goes. Even his brown eyes almost seem to have a tint of red to them…
9) Character Reputation: Septon Walder Frey has long been assumed dead, perhaps murdered by eastern savages. Only a select few ever ask the red priest why exactly he refers to himself as an apostate.
10) Your AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ or email address (so other players may have the opportunity to contact you).
For the record, I should state I used Thoros and not Melisandre as my basis for what a typical red priest is capable of. No shadowbinding, no bloodmagic, Pylos is a straight red priest, not a sorcerer. Of cours, things might get weird...

Name: Lord Burqe Piper of Pinkmaiden
Age: b. 501 (20)
Nationality: Riverlands
Byname: ---
Skills: Expert Charisma
Noteworthy Swordsmanship Noteworthy Command
Apprentice Lance Apprentice Adroitness
Novice Archery Novice Rulership
Beginner Riding Beginner Stealth Second: I'm moving Ambriet down to NPC status, and will replace him with Sansa Piper.
Ambriet Mollace, Castellan of Pinkmaiden. -- Having served under Lord Edwyn Piper for the majority of his 63 years, the well learned, if elderly, Ambriet continues his dutiful service to House Piper as Castellan of Pinkmaiden. Skills: Noteworthy Stewardship; Noteworthy Finance Apprentice Intrigue; Apprentice Warfare Novice Herbalism; Novice Charm Beginner Healing; Beginner Stealth
Personal History: In the early months of the year 501, a child became the firstborn of Lord Edwyn and Lady Camellia of Pinkmaiden. Shortly after childbirth, the infant’s lady mother passed away of complications during delivery. Having no siblings of his own, and the prospects of another child slim (it was a miracle his they had conceived at all), the widowed Lord Edwyn was left with his sole heir to Pinkmaiden, Burqe Piper.
Lord Edwyn, evermore neurotic with each passing year, treated his son as the rare commodity he was. Burqe was confined to the limits of Pinkmaiden, more often inside the castle walls than not. His childhood stomping grounds limited, the young lordling set himself to the activities he could: training the sword, lance, and horse with the master-at-arms, hunting with the soldiers about Pinkmaiden when he could, lessons with the Maester when he had to, and general tomfoolery with other children. Rarely would Burqe see his father, even rarer would they speak (for he forever was occupied with the business of his lands), and never was the young lordling permitted to leave Pinkmaiden.
It was only a few months before Burqe was to turn twenty that his lord father came down with a pox. In those last few months Lord Edwyn, with one foot in the grave, reached to his son. Burqe, being the sole heir of Pinkmaiden, was soon to inherit a seat of power that he was ill prepared to take. With only the most general teachings on the matter of running House Piper, and even less knowledge of Westeros and the Great Houses, Burqe was shakily declared Lord Piper of Pinkmaiden as his father passed in June of the year 521.
Physical Description: Whether Burqe Piper embodies the first half of his House motto, “Brave and Beautiful”, has yet to be determined, notwithstanding he certainly captures the latter part. Young and dashing, Burqe’s sharp features, and lithe, muscled frame make him an attractive figure. This image is only furthered by a thick mane of dark auburn hair and a well trimmed goatee. Burqe’s crooked grin is warm and amiable, charmingly punctuated by bright blue eyes.
Reputation: Burqe Piper has little to no reputation outside of Pinkmaiden. This can be attributed not only to his isolated, sheltered upbringing, but also to his relatively recent appearance in the political arena. Within his hometown though, Burqe was regarded as charming, energetic young lad, if only a bit idealistic and foolhardy; an image which carried over into his adult self. The passing of the late Lord Edwyn left Burqe disconsolate for a brief time. However, as of late the young lord seems to be more or less unfazed by his father’s passing.

Switching Ser Patrek Redfort to my second and Baelor Quickstrike to my third, as I don't get to rp him much. He'd be more of a sidekick to my first anyway.
Ser Patrek Redfort, b. 494 second in command of the King's Men in the year 521 AC 2) Character Age: 27
3) Character Nationality: Vale
4) Character Byname: none
5) Character Skills: Expert: axe Noteworthy: crossbow Noteworthy: leadership Apprentice: observation Apprentice: Speed Novice: poison lore (detecting poison etc) Beginner: riding Beginner: cunning
Leadership improved in "The escape" Axe improved in "Signs" Observation improved in "signs"
7) Character Personal History: As the son of Ser Androw Redfort, who is the brother of the current lord of Redfort, he’s a large way away from being a lord, and thus he have to carve his own way through life. As he favored the longaxe he spent two years in Norvos at the age of fourteen training with the bearded priests that trained the elite guardsmen from Norvos. At the end he got branded with the axe symbol but didn’t have to take the vow.
He fought in the mountain clan uprising and in the Battle of the Field of Fire and Blood. Is now currently in King’s Landing as he followed Odhar Royce on his way south.
8) Character Physical Description: His preferred weapon is a longaxe with a 5 feet shaft, and so he’s the very image of the Warrior, though more grizzly and would never have any girls swooning after him. He has hard blue eyes, and all in all a very grim face prone to grimaces and twitches. Very few have heard him laugh. He keeps is head shaved and prefer to keep a short cropped chin beard.

1) Lewys Lydden, Lord of the Deep Den 2) 22 years (born September 7, 499 AC) 3) The Westerlands 4) ---- 5) Expert- Lance
Noteworthy- Naval Warfare, Fist-Fighting
Apprentice- Swordmanship, Ambushing
Novice- Finances, Trade/Merchantry
Beginner- Battle Command, Politics
6) Jon Lydden, 19, born December 3, 502, of the Westerlands
Noteworthy- Fist Fighting, Lance
Apprentice- Ambushing, Swordsmanship
Novice- Battle (Generalship), Trade
Beginner- Archery, Finance
7) Lewys was sent to the Banefort at the age of eight to be fostered. There were few boys close to his age, so he spent much time down at the docks, riding through the countryside and villages, or observing how the Lord dealt with the running of the fort and the affairs of the smallfolk. His time interacting with foreigners has given him a rudimentary knowledge of several foreign languages and sailing. He was summoned back to the Deep Den at the age of 13, when his father became very sick. Lewys was forced to learn how to manage and lead at an early age. His father's sickness lingered, until he finally passed away, and Lewys became the young Lord Lydden at the age of 18. His men and him were present in the Battle of the Field of Fire and Blood.
8) Lewys is slightly taller than average, with a hard-packed, slender frame. He has close-cropped black hair, and deep, hollow, brooding green eyes. He has thin lips, and a warm, if very rare, smile. He wears a concealed face, with a perpetual look of solemnity.
9) His reputation is one of an honest, loyal, and just Lord. He is dutiful to Casterly Rock and the King. He is always polite, but can sometimes be described as being "cold" or "distant", which is a result of his reserved and seemingly emotionless nature. He is known as an excellent ale-drinker; he can hold his own with any man of Westeros at drinking ale. However, he extremely dislikes wine, and hardly ever drinks it. He prefers ale or cold water, at all times.

Scratch this. I'm rethinking my character creation.
1) Character Name: Lady Ginnia Tyrell (nee Tarly) 2) Character Age: 96 (born 425)
3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): The Reach
4) Character Byname: Old Flowers, The Rose Queen
5) Character Skills (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, and 2 noteworthy skills and 1 expert skill):
Expert Persuasion Noteworthy Political Intrigue Noteworthy Manipulation Apprentice Stewardship Apprentice Drinking Novice Bargaining Novice Sewing Beginner Singing Beginner Harp
6) Character's Second (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, and 2 noteworthy skills):
Lord Ruthermore Tarly
Noteworthy Persuasion Noteworthy Stealth Apprentice Swordsmanship Apprentice Disguises Novice Manipulation Novice Stewardship Beginner History Beginner Horseriding
6) Character's Third (Choose 1 beginner skills, 1 novice skills, 1 apprentice skills, and 1 noteworthy skills):
Lyonen Flowers
Noteworthy Swordsmanship Apprentice Persuasion Novice Stealth Beginner Horseriding
7) Main Character Personal History: Born nearly a century ago, to Lord Abric Tarly and his Hightower wife, Sindra. After marrying Lord Henidon in 440 AC, Ginia stayed in Highgarden, and has remained there for the last eighty years. Becoming legendary at times for her political prowess and intrigue, she has been quiet and out of the spotlight for the last two decades as she was more concerned with overcoming a sick string of illnesses.
After practically raising her great-great-grandson, Barret Tyrell, in Highgarden, she became a voice of wisdom and reason in his life, and groomed him as the heir to the Reach, like his father hadn't. She was deeply involved in his life, and allowed the young Lord's mistress, Olivia, to stay in her own quarters.
Those close to her, which is a very small number, speak of her great sadness at the death of her great-great-grandson, and say she still harbors a great resentment for those who denied Barret's will, and betrayed the Reachmen at the Black Meeting.
Her great-grandnephew, the new Lord Tarly, is very often in her company. She was considered to be his mentor, and has recently re-invited Olivia Caswell and Barret's bastard children (who she favors) back to Highgarden.
8) Character Physical Description: Despite her fragility and bad hearing, she is quite strong considering her extreme age. She walks with a cane her son, Lord Granger Tyrell, bought her many years ago. Magnificently she still has a surprising amount of hair, all long and white- though just as fragile and brittle as she looks.
9) Character Reputation: She used to be called a bitch, and this was before she started doing things publicly that earned her that nickname.
10) Your AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ or email address (so other players may have the opportunity to contact you). Romaglory

1) Character Name: Lord Breck Dondarrion
2) Character Age: 15 (born 507 AC)
3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): The Stormalnds/Valyria
4) Character Byname: The Lightning Lad, Bright Eyes, Brightbolt, and a few less popular names
5) Character Skills (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, 2 noteworthy skills, and 1 expert skill):
Expert Swordsmanship Expert Stewardship Noteworthy Merchantry Noteworthy Westerosi History Apprentice Battle Command Novice Charm Novice Horse riding Beginner Singing Beginner Harp
Improved: Westerosi History and Stewardship in "In the Keep of the King"
6) Character Personal History:
Born during the reign of Aegon Targaryen IX, Breck was raised mostly by his mother in Blackhaven rather than his father who was serving as Hand in King's Landing. Breck saw his father rarely up until the point that his father suffered a riding accident and decided in its aftermath that he would resign as Hand and return to Blackhaven to raise his family. Over the next few years Breck's family grew an emotional bond. His father became a kind and compassionate man, and Breck has some of his most fond memories from this time period. His father's death did nothing if not bring his family closer together, and Breck maintains close relationships with not only his mother but also his younger sister Layla.
Breck is already developing the weapon skills that his father did not achieve until later in his life, and is relatively quick in his learnings. His best friend and betrothed is Lord Emmon Barclay's kid sister, the pretty Nora Barclay.
8) Character Physical Description:
It is apparent that Breck outwardly shows his hodgepodge heritage. He has the dark hair of the Baratheon's, which make strange juxtaposition with his Valyrian heritage-- the violet color of his eyes. He is already handsome like both of his parents, and strong for his age.
9) Character Reputation: Long promised to be just as successful for Blackhaven as his father was, Breck's ascension to Lordship (in a couple of years) is often looked forward to as a major step in Blackhaven history. So far Breck has shown little of his father's spiteful tendencies, and seems to be taking after his mother, the Lady Regent, in kindness.
10) Second Character Name: Ser Cedrik Lonmouth
11) Character Age: 34 (born 487 AC)
12) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): The Stormlands
13) Character Byname: The Hunter, Dark Eyes
14) Second Character Skills (Choose 2 beginner skill, 2 novice skill, 2 apprentice skill, and 2 noteworthy skill):
Noteworthy Battle Strategy Noteworthy Persuasion Apprentice Swordsmanship Apprentice Stewardship Novice Tracking/Scouting Novice Ambushing Beginner Horseriding Beginner Drinking
15) Character Personal History: The younger brother of Ser Harry Lonmouth, he grew up as a close friend to his brother, but as soon as Harry joined the Kingsguard his popularity surged. Harry's handsome appearance earned him the name "the Star-Eyed", and his brother the nickname "Dark Eyes", despite the fact that Cedrik had little of Harry's attractiveness. After some time in the spotlight, Cedrik decided to split from his brother to pursue glory in the service of Lord Michael Dondarrion and has remained in the service of House Dondarrion since then.
He has practiced his skills with the blade very little over the past decade and they have thusly declined. However he has improved his command tactics and served as a knight and commander protecting the areas around Blackhaven. He is known as a scourge of vagabonds and brigands in the area.
16) Character Physical Description: Dark eyed, and formerly dark haired as well, his is now starting to gray. He is leaner than he used to be, and still stands at a roughly average height (5' 11"). His looks have faded throughout the years, but his personality has kept the same mostly.
17) Character Reputation: Known locally as a scourge of Stormland banditry, and to older folk as the talented brother of Ser Harry Lonmouth.
18) Third Character Name: Ser Liam Connington
19) Character Age: 20 (born 502 AC)
20) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): Stormlands
21) Character Byname: N/A
22) Third Character Skills (Choose 1 beginner skill, 1 novice skill, 1 apprentice skill, and 1 noteworthy skill):
Master Swordsmanship Apprentice Horseriding Apprentice Stealth Novice Archery Beginner Speed Beginner Battle Command
EDIT: Improved swordsmanship in "In shape" EDIT: Improved battle command in "All together now" EDIT: Improved swordsmanship in "In the heat of battle" EDIT: Improved stealth in "Into the night"
23) Character Personal History: The younger twin son of Lord Harold Connington and June Caron, Liam is a grandson of the Songlord, Sylas Caron, and a nephew to the current Lord of Nightsong-- Lord Gideon. His mother died in childbirth after giving birth to him and his older brother, Grant. The marriage between his parents was meant to mend relations between House Caron and House Connington (the latter was crushed by the former in an uprising against King Rodrick in 494 AC). The marriage did prove to be beneficial to some degree but relations are still rocky between his father's house, and his mother's house.
Liam has spent a great deal of time lately with his swordwork and improving the speed of his swordarm. He was able to get real experience when he fought in the most recent confusing battle outside King's Landing. In the very beginning of the fight, Liam, who had negative impressions of Prince Andry Baratheon, defected from his army to the nearby Crownland host. Fighting in close proximity to Karlon Barclay, he was after the battle knighted for his skill on the field by Lord Barclay's uncle. He now serves as a lieutenant in House Barclay's house guard.
24) Character Physical Description: The spitting image of his grandfather at a young age, Liam Connington is of medium height and attractive. His hair is worn long and in waves and he keeps a well trimmed handlebar mustache and goatee.
25) Character Reputation: His reputation has only recently begun to grow.

My old second was pretty insignificant, and I have not used him at all. So I'm switching him out. Besides, if he stays in play much longer I am sure lightning will fall from the sky and tragically kill him anyways...
Name: Marei Swiftwaters. Age: Unknown, likely in her early twenties. Nationality: The Crownlands.
Skills: Noteworthy Espionage Noteworthy Stealth Apprentice Knives Apprentice Disguises Novice Stewardship Novice Crossbow Beginner Swords Beginner Leadership
Physical Description: Young. Brunette. Pretty, but not dazzling, with a face that is ultimately forgettable.
Reputation: Marei popped out of nowhere a few years ago. She generally keeps her head down. As far as most know, she serves as some sort of secretary or assistant for Horas Blackwood. A secretary who happened to become the first ever female Master of Whisperers in the brief period Francis Varner was presumed dead.

Becuase of that, Marbrand, with Baldwins permission, knighted the man. His title, and the armor, symbol, and sword that went with it transferred to his son Marten when Kenneth died.
He spent a few years running his late fathers shop, before deciding to go off and adventure when business slowed down. Since then, he has had a few odd jobs, and ended up in the Riverlands.

1) Character Name: Elijah Martell 2) Character Age: 24 3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): Dornish 4) Character Byname: The Quiet 5) Character Skills: Expert: Swordsmanship (Great Sword) Noteworthy: Negotiation, Persuasion Apprentice: Courtesy, Stewardship Novice: Horse Riding, Intrigue Beginner: Archery, Unarmed Combat 6) Character's Second: Holland Fowler Noteworthy: Archery, Swordsmanship (Longsword) Apprentice: Horse Riding, Stealth Novice: Tracking, Poisons Beginner: Unarmed Combat, Climbing 7) Character Personal History: When Elijah was younger he had a terrible stutter. This is what earned him the moniker of "the quiet". Over the years, this allowed Elijah to develop a keen sense of observation and the ability to easily read between the lines of what most people said. Eventually, this landed him a position as inquisitor for the "penal system" of Dorne. However, Elijah left Sunspear with Holland Fowler three years ago, being convinced by Holland that there was a vast treasure hidden by reavers somewhere in the south of the continent. He now returns to the capital, sans treasure, unwilling to speak of where exactly they had been and what had transpired. 8) Character Physical Description: Elijah is roughly 6'3" and weighs approximately 235 lbs. He has olive skin, black hair and brown eyes. He is fit for his age. 9) Character Reputation: Elijah is regarded with respect and is well liked by his fellow law abiding countryfolk. Those of whom he's "questioned" would most certainly beg to differ. 10) My email address is jim_mayniam@hotmail.com OOC: I was previously Elias Sand for a short time but because of being hit with a "you shall have no internet" stick, I didn't return for a while. I really hadn't RP'ed for very long, thus when I recovered from my wounds, I forgot that I was even playing. I'm looking forward to a longer relationship with ya'll this time around

7) Character Personal History:
Born to a lesser line of Daynes, young Beric died three times shortly after birth, being brought back every time by a maester. He was born during a horrible storm and the combined factor of lightning, and his purple eyes, lead to him being named Beric. His mother died a short while later, and his father, who thus bore no love for the child, gave him over to a retired sellsword. He began training with sword and horse at an early age and was allready formidable with both at age twelve. On his fourteenth nameday, his adoptive father (whom he believed was his real father) died, so Beric took the old man's greatsword and money, and sailed for Pentos. There he met a young girl, aged 8, who was also from Dorne, named Aryanne. She was working in a brothel and Beric decided she was too pretty to become a whore, so one night he stole her away from the brothel and sailed with her to Braavos. They made a living there, he as a bouncer at a brothel and her as a pick-pocket. They lived like this until one day, when he was sixteen, a strange man (most probably a faceless man) told him that he was actually of house Dayne. Beric did not believe this at first, but when the man claimed to have known his parents he decided it was worth finding out. He took Aryanna and sailed to Starfall, where he inquired about his father. He eventually found the man in a sept and announced to him he was his son. His father, standing in the eyes of the seven, could not lie and admitted to being his father. He told him however that he could never play the part, and that all he could do was make sure his son had a place to live and a yard to train.
Over the years Beric grew to be a very formidable swordsman and was knighted on his nineteenth nameday. He received a small household and became seasoned in commanding battle against pirate raids on Starfall and the Dornish coast. He married Aryanne when she turned 16, and as a marriage present she received training from a Dothraki warrior, and a Braavosi poisoner. Most recently Beric has taken Aryanne up to Highgarden, a city she has always wanted to see.
Beric still owns the sellsword's greatsword, and dons a black suit or armor, which is composed of ringmail, plate and a great helm. He rides a black stallion which he has named "Shadow".
8) Character Physical Description:
Due to his unfortunate birth, Beric has pale skin, thin silver-ashen straight hair, which falls infront of his face and deep pruple eyes, which are speckled with grey. He is tall, around 6'1", slim, with a wiry frame of muscle, and has an almost corpse-like appearance, which earned him his nickname. He prefers wearing dark colors, mostly black, even in the heat of the Dornish sun, and he speaks with a thin voice, causing people to strain to hear him.
9) Character Reputation: Due to his looks, the people of Starfall, and most other places he has been to, shun him. His own men fear him, but they have deep respect for his skill in arms and leadership. The only person to truely bare any love for him is Aryanne, for reasons only she knows. The pirate raiders call him "The Corpse-Knight" and fear him more than any other man who has brought battle to them.
