Noteworthy: Smithing & General Ironmongery Noteworthy: Armour Manufacture & Repair Apprentice: Sword Manufacture & Repair Apprentice: Hammer (Blunt Weapon) Novice: Horse-riding Novice: Wainwright Beginner: Cooper Beginner: Book-keeping (Finance)
7) Character Personal History: The son of the village blacksmith, Benfry was always more interested in stories of knights, maidens and castles rather than the more prosaic life of his father. At every opportunity he used to sneak out of the village with his friend Osmund, who was the son of the village wainwright, and play at fighting with sticks substituted for swords. As they grew older though, Osmund became more involved in supporting the work of his father and also became the apprentice of Benfry’s father. As such he had less and less spare time to go and play truant with Benfry in the woods. Benfry took to sneaking off on his own and imagined being a great knight as he played in the woods. One day he met an old tracker named Calwyn, whom he rather irritated by scaring off a deer he was hunting (he imagined it as the Black Knight and ran towards it with his sticksword). Calwyn soon took a liking to the young lad though and began to teach him the secrets of the forest, how to follow tracks, read spoor and stay downwind of the prey. This distracted Benfry for several years and he became quite good at sneaking around the forest unseen and unheard. However Benfry’s first love remained being a knight and one day an old hedge knight stayed over in the village tavern and Benfry followed him around in adulation, pestering him with stories. Eventually he pestered his father and the knight enough to allow him to squire for him and spent the next few years squiring for him as the hedge knight went from one low key service to the other. The old knight eventually died after a brief illness and was buried by Benfry who tried to remember some of the septon’s words as he committed the old man to the earth. He took up his arms and horse and became “Ser” Benfry Smith of Blackford Crossing. He has recently returned to his home village.
8) Character Physical Description: Benfry is tall but skinny and still to grow into his full height. He has light brown untidy hair, brown eyes and has a light sprinkling of freckles across his nose. Osmund is shorter but wider across the shoulders and is well muscled due to his profession. Osmund has blond hair with blue eyes and has the beginnings of a moustache which he thinks makes him look distinguished.
9) Character Reputation: Neither has any wider recognition beyond Blackford Crossing.

Name: Horas Blackwood
Age: b. 478 (Currently 42)
Nationality: Riverlands
Byname: The Crow
Skills:
Legendary Intrigue
Master Poisions
Expert Healing Expert Negotiation
Apprentice Courtesy Apprentice Languages
Novice Study of Mysteries
Beginner Riding Beginner Stewardship Beginner Daggerwork
Second: Ser Kennos Keath. A warrior notorious for his great skill and black reputation. The self-proclaimed greatest swordsman in Westeros -- and his claim is not entirely scoffed at. Formerly the captain of Horas Blackwood's guard, "The Demon" is now an outlaw.
Legendary Swordsmanship Legendary Lance
Expert Leadership
Apprentice Charm (Hmm... I think this skill is proof that Kennos developed in a very different way than I originally conceived him)
Novice Battle Novice Fist Fighting
Beginner Riding Beginner Wood carving
Dead
Personal History: As a boy, Horas Blackwood was a meek and mild-mannered child who preferred a good book to a sturdy lance. As the nephew of Lord Terrence Blackwood he stood to inherit little, and his father found it unlikely that he would distinguish himself with the sword. And so at a very young age Horas was sent off to Oldtown to begin his training as a Maester.
Here Horas distinguished himself; he was quick-witted and studious, and rose rapidly. Maester Mors remarked that never in his fifty-eight years at the Citadel had a novice earned his silver link so quickly. But Horace had habits that irritated his instructors as well. The second link on his chain was made of Valyrian steel, for the study of magic and mysteries, a subject frowned upon by most Maesters. Horas never neglected his other studies, but became increasingly obsessed with the study of magic. And then, one day, Horas was gone, leaving only his partially forged chain and a brief note on his bed informing the maesters that he was heading across the Narrow Sea to the east.
Horas Blackwood spent fifteen years in the east, though he talks very little about them. Upon his return to Westeros, Horas began taking up duties in service to his house. He quickly gained the trust of his uncle Terrence and his cousin Warren for his sharp political eye and skill in negotiation. When a Baratheon king returned to the throne and House Blackwood looked on the brink of destruction, it was Horas who negotiated a peace settlement that left the Blackwoods as Lords Paramount of the Riverlands.
Soon after, Horas Blackwood became Callen Baratheon's Master of Whisperers. In that position he spread his network of spies and agents throughout Westeros and became much more deeply involved in the game of thrones. Several years later, after Callen's death, Horas was named Hand of the King to the new King Regent.
Physical Description: Horas is a short, slim man with light brown hair and pale blue eyes. His features are generally not particularly remarkable, and his face rarely betrays his emotions.
Horas would almost be forgettable if not for the eccentricities he picked up in the East. Most noticeable of these are his lips, permanently stained blue. They give Horas a foreign, and occasionally sinister, look.
Reputation: Horas is by nature reclusive and private, but that does not stop a horde of rumors from circulating around him. The commons once whispered of him as some sort of evil sorceror, but those rumors are all but forgotten now. More pragmatic men regard Horas as a man with great influence and power -- sensible and courteous, but also capable of very dishonorable deeds.

1) Character Name: Ser Alexius Blackwood
2) Character Age: 38
3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): The Riverlands/Stormlands
4) Character Byname: The Steel Raven
5) Character Skills (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, and 2 noteworthy skills and 1 expert skill):
Expert Swordsmanship Noteworthy Horsemanship Noteworthy Swordtraining Apprentice Battle Strategy Apprentice Jousting Novice Blacksmithing Novice Skirmishing Beginner Scouting Beginner Ambushing
6) Character Personal History: Ser Alexius Blackwood was born a bastard son of Lord Terrence Blackwood in the small territorial holdings of House Bolling- a house similar in part to the Blackfyre's of old (as they were founded by a bastard of the ruling house (Baratheon)). The Bolling's however, unlike the Blackfyre Pretenders, do not claim the Iron Throne for themselves.
Alexius was raised by his uncle, the Lord Kerry Bolling-- a cold and implacable man. Alexius was often beaten for his rebellious actions as a youth, and received the strictest of punishments when it was found that he had sired a bastard upon a baseborn girl in his early teens.
Blackwood was sent to foster the remaining years of his youth in Blackhaven where he met and befriended the young heir to the castle, Michael Dondarrion. Blackwood and Dondarrion quickly became great friends and upon his rising to Lordship, Michael recognized Alexius' ability with the sword by appointing him the youngest master-at-arms Blackhaven had ever seen. Blackwood rode right beside Dondarrion in the War of Stag and Dragon and the Three King's War, and was rewarded for his skill at the Lightning Lord's side by being knighted and legitimized by the King. In the aftermath of the War of Stag and Dragon, Dondarrion also convinced King Aegon to legitimize Blackwood's now growing pool of bastards. Several years ago he also married the baseborn woman he met years ago, and the two now have 4 children: Jacob, Augusta, Colleen and Michael.
Alexius, who is also close to his half-sister, Jessica Bolling, agreed several years ago to let her son Lyndsey Bar Emmon, squire for him. Several months later though, Alexius was marching alongside Michael to lay claim to King's Landing. Lyndsey marched alongside Alexius, and fought valiantly in the Throne Room confrontation against Aedon Targaryen's men. After the battle, Lyndsey Bar Emmon was knighted by Lord Sylas Caron in a small ceremony for the survivors and losses of the Throne Room battle. Since the war, Lyndsey has remained in Blackhaven with Alexius, as the two are now friends, and has served as a ship captain for the young Lord of Blackhaven.
Eleven years ago Michael Dondarrion made Alexius the godfather of his first son, Breck Dondarrion, who now seats the throne in Blackhaven. Since that time, and especially in the years since Michael's death, Alexius has been like a father to Breck, and become a close friend to Lady Margaret Baratheon as well. Alexius and Lyndsey have been key mentors to the young Lord and have been two of his most staunch guardians.
7) Character Physical Description: Alexius Blackwood is a tall man with curled black hair (which he claims is proof of even more recent Baratheon blood), and pale blue eyes. He is a strong man and has muscles to prove his strength, however he is not excessively important in his strength. He can be relatively charming at times and it is said that is when he is most attractive though he is not an ugly man. He also keeps a vandyck beard.
8) Character Reputation: Blackwood has little reputation outside Blackhaven and even less outside the Stormlands. Most people forget that Blackwood . His father is notable for his virility and strength however, and many claim that he will outlive his son, who has a much edgier lifestyle. Others also think that Alexius will abdicate the right to his lands in favor of his firstborn son, Jacob.
9) Character's Second (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, and 2 noteworthy skills):
Lord Emmon Barclay (formerly known as Ser Lyndsey Bar Emmon)
Master Swordsmanship Master Naval Strategy Noteworthy Battle Strategy Apprentice Horsemanship Apprentice Maritime Management/Merchantry Novice Naval Navigation Novice Ship Repair Beginner Unarmed Combat Beginner Westerosi History Beginner Archery
--Improved to Apprentice M.M./Mercantry and Novice Ship Repair in "The Traders" --Improved to Expert Swordsmanship in "How to save a Life" --Improved to Master Swordsmanship in "The Crab, The Fish, and the Wardrobe" --Improved to Expert Naval Strategy in "Polishing his skills" --Improved to Master Naval Strategy in "Fishing isn't always fishing" --Improved to Beginner Archery in "Fishing isn't always fishing" --Improved to Noteworthy Battle Strategy in "All together now"
10) Character Personal History:
Lyndsey Bar Emmon was born in early 493 AC to the Lord of Sharp Point and Lady Jessica Bolling. He was taught of ships, naval command, and naval merchantry by his father Lord Leonard Bar Emmon. He has served as squire to his uncle, Ser Alexius Blackwood and was knighted after his valiant show of skill in the Throne Room battle of the Three King's War. It was there that he witnessed the death of two kings, King Aedon Targaryen, and his liege (at the time), King Michael Dondarrion. Lyndsey has also recently brought his kid sister, Nora, to Blackhaven, and to its high court as a foster child.
11) Character Physical Description:
Lyndsey is an attractive tall man, slim with dark red-gold hair, shortly cropped hair and a clean shaven face.
12) Character Reputation:
Lyndsey is well favored by the peoples of Blackhaven and especially favored by those of Sharp Point.
13) Character's Third (Choose 1 beginner skill, 1 novice skill, 1 apprentice skill, and 1 noteworthy skill):
Breck Dondarrion
Noteworthy Swordsman Apprentice Stewardship Novice Naval Merchantry Beginner Westerosi History
14) Character Personal History:
Born during the reign of Aegon Targaryen IX, Breck was raised mostly by his mother in Blackhaven rather than his father who was serving as Hand in King's Landing. Breck saw his father rarely up until the point that his father suffered a riding accident and decided in its aftermath that he would resign as Hand and return to Blackhaven to raise his family. Breck's family, for the next few years grew an emotional bond. His father was a kind and compassionate man to them, and Breck has some of his most fond memories from this time period. His father's death did nothing if not bring his family closer together, and Breck maintains close relationships with not only his mother but also his younger sister Layla.
Breck is already developing the weapon skills that his father did not achieve until later in his life, and is relatively quick in his learnings. His best friend is Ser Lyndsey's sister, Nora Bar Emmon.
15) Character Physical Description:
It is appearant that Breck outwardly shows his entire hodgepodge heritage. He has the dark hair of the Baratheon's, which make strange juxtapositioning with his Valyrian heritage-- shown by the violet color of his eyes. He is already handsome like both of his parents, and strong for his age.
16) Character Reputation:
Long promised to be just as successful for Blackhaven as his father was, Breck's ascension to Lordship (in a number of years) is often looked forward to as a major step in Blackhaven history. So far Breck has shown little of his father's spiteful tendencies, and seems to be taking after his mother, the Lady Regent, in kindness.

She never married since she got barren through an illness in early childhood, but tried to raise Laren like her own son after the death of his parents. Laren always was a wilful child not, trying to get his own way. He's a person with an inquisitive mind and rather up to fight for what he wants with his tongue then with weapons.
8) Character Physical Description: He's small for his age with blue eyes and light brown hair, promising to grow handsome when he gets older.
9) Character Reputation: He's famous for his will to get what he wants and to put it through against all odds, what sometimes reduces his aunt and family to despair. His escape from a Royce party caused by some minor dispute and his will to see the Wall, which he achieved in the end through Jared Snow who picked him up on his way north, taking him for some homeless boy, is the latest example.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
My second 1) Character Name: Jared Snow (Sworn Brother of the Night's Watch)
2) Character Age: 18
3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): Northerner
4) Character Byname:
5) Character Skills Master - Survival Noteworthy - Swordman Noteworthy - Battle Apprentice - Horseback Riding Apprentice – Skin changing Beginner - Scouting
7) Character Personal History: Jared was born at the turn of the century at the Dreadfort. Both his parents are bastard born themselves and he is only one among many in Lord Boltens household. But his mother always claimed that their origins go back to the last real Starks in Winterfell. His father was Alan Snow (son of Hothar Bolton, and grandson of Roxas Bolton), a man at arms at the Dreadfort. Jared learned from an early age that bastards are looked down by most and not much worth in their eyes. So he began from an early to put his focus on learning the skills of war, even though he has a sharp mind as the maester recognized while teaching him secretly his letters and some history. During the Three King's war he feels himself drawn south and serves as a sellsword for several masters. But all the time he has the queer feeling that his future somehow lies north. Finally in the summer 518 while camping near the High Heart he has a strange dream telling him about some power rising in the far north. It seemed that he was seeing many little black dots running up a snow covered hill from the perspective of a bird. He couldn't explain this to himself but just a few days earlier he heard people at an inn talk about the Night's Watch being short of men and settlers for the Gift. So he decides do go north to see what they might offer him there.
8) Character Physical Description: Jared is of average height, has intense green eyes and shaggy black hair. His clothing, weapons and armour aren't knew and well worn, but of good quality. Usually he doesn't seem to be interested in his surroundings, but if he has to or rather wants to he can be a quite cunning and a good listener.
9) Character Reputation: Among his bothers he is known as a good and trustworthy fighter. On his red stallion Fire he has beaten many a foe in the field. But since he never stayed long anywhere no one really knows him.

The two boys were of the same age, and Kentyn was fostered at Saltpans where he lived most of his childhood, and learned most of his skills. In the summer of 516, Kentyn accompanied Lord Cox on a venture to the free cities, along with Patrek and a handful of guards. They visited Tyrosh, Lys, and Braavos, where Kentyn killed a Braavosi in an alcohol induced street fight. Otho, a guard of Lord Cox was mortally wounded in the fight and died on the return voyage of his mortified wound. He was always a sensible child, mostly without humour, but with compassion for his peers.
He squired for Ser Landon Costayne from the ages of 13 to 15 and swore his vows as a knight aged 16. From here he went into service with the Oldtown guard. At 19 years of age, he was married to Marianne Hightower (17 at the time), a cousin to the Lord Robert Hightower. Within a year, she was pregnant with their first child, Tomas Bulwer (born 507).
At 21, Oliver left the Oldtown guard honorably in order to serve under his lord father as Castellan of Blackcrown due to the death of the previous castellan. 8) Character Physical Description: A man of middling height (5”11’) and average build, with mousey brown hair that gains a reddish hue in sunlight. His face is covered with an even beard, kept at a tidy length. His face is pale with intelligent brown eyes and a mouth that twists into a smile full of charm whenever he is amused, albeit rarely. He will often be seen wearing the blood red of his house, oft times with the bull’s skull of his house adorned on his breast.
9) Character Reputation: Being from a small house, Oliver has little widespread fame however in the locality he is known to be an honest, hardworking, sensible man with average leadership skills. He is well-liked but few would say they love him.

1. Character Name: Andrew Royce
2. Character Age: 39
3. Character Nationality: Vale
4. Character Byname: The Sailing Falcon
5. Character Skills:
Expert: Seamanship Noteworthy: Dagger-fighting and Naval Warfare Apprentice: Trading and Unarmed Fighting Novice: Swimming and Swordmanship Beginner: Riding and Political Intrigue
6. Character's Second: Owen Baelish (Age 16)
Noteworthy: Charm and Negotiation Apprentice: Seamanship and Naval Warfare Novice: Dagger-fighting and Swordmanship Beginner: Trading and Swimming
7) Character Personal History:
Andrew Royce: Andrew's father was the the second son to a cousin of Lord Edric Royce, but Andrew's father left on a voyage to see the world. With him came his wife Isabel Royce(Former Pryor) and his squire, Gerrard Baelish. The ship stopped at all the Free Cities and Andrew's Father fell in love with the Cities. Andrew's Father and his wife stayed in Braavos, and there Andrew was born. His father's interest in the sea passed on to Andrew. He took on as a sailor at the age of 13, scrubbing decks and different chores that needed to be done on deck. His parents sold the house in Braavos, after some trouble with bravos wanting to fight his father as he was a Westerosi noble, and bought one in Volantis instead. Andrew stayed behind on the ship, to his parents dismay. He stayed with different ship for several years, and finally was allowed to captain one of his own ships: Sailing Falcon. Since then he has sailed to all the Free Cities working as a tradeship. When Andrew was 34 years old, he was told of his parents death in a fire, and headed for Volantis. There he found the only survivor, Owen, a boy of ten years and Gerrard Baelish's only child. He took the boy under his wings, just as the captain had done on the first ship he borded.
Owen Baelish: Born the only child of Gerrard Baelish and a Volantis slaver's daughter, he had a pretty normal childhood until the year he turned ten as the house of his parents burnt down to the ground, with his parents, his grandfather and two of Gerrard best friend, the Royces. The reasons for the fire is unclear. Owen would probably been a slave if Andrew hadn't come along and saved him when he did. Since that day, Owen has been proving himself to be a skillful talker that can charm his way to just about anything. He's also a pretty good sailor or so says Andrew.
8. Character Physical Description:
Andrew Royce: He has large eyes the color of chocolate. His fine, straight, brown hair is neck-length and is worn in an artistic, exotic style. He is tall and has a boyish build. His skin is cream-colored. He has prominent cheekbones and nearly-nonexistent eyebrows.
Owen Baelish: He has beady gray eyes that are like two windows looking out on an overcast sky. His thick, straight, midnight-colored hair is short. He is short, about 5,7, and has a slender build. His skin is deeply-tanned.
9. Character Reputation:
Andrew Royce is known as a good sailor and captain, at least around The Free Cities. To Westerosi he is mostly unknown.
Owen Baelish: Known as a nice and friendly sailor under Andrew Royce wings.

1)Character Name: Zoella Martell
2) Character Age: 16
3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): Dornish
4) Character Byname: not chosen yet
5) Character Skills: 2 beginner skills: singing, courtesy 2 novice skills: healing, horse-riding, 2 apprentice skills: Dagger, Poisons, 2 noteworthy skills: Espionage, Intrigue 1 expert skill: Persuasion
7) Character Personal History: Zoella is a natural daughter of princess Zeraib, the sister of late Prince Paidan of Dorne, and a Tyroshi sellsail captain of unknown name. Zeraib was wildly in love with the captain, allegedly a very handsome man, and even meant to leave Dorne secretly as his wife, but as soon as her brother found out about these plans he sent to the Tyroshi four men from his personal guard with a proposition he couldn’t refuse: stay away from my sister or find a new home among the Dornish sand dunes as a corpse of honour. The Tyroshi captain, being no fool, fled the country and never returned, leaving his pregnant paramour to the despair and tears. Princess Zeraib died in childbirth. Zoella was raised by her mother’s wet nurse and her family for her first three years of her life. When Princess Emelia came into power with the Prince's death, she legitimized Zoella and allowed her to use her mother’s surname as well, returning her to the Water Gardens to be raised. She proved to be shy but promising, and upon her flowering was taken into Emelia's care as a lady-in-waiting.
8) Character Physical Description: Small, swarthy, lithe girl with copper long curls and big black eyes, very pleasant to look at but certainly not a great beauty. Inconspicuous among other ladies of the court.
9) Character Reputation:
A very nice person to be and talk with, she can be a very pleasant and witty companion as long as it suits her purposes. Zoella doesn’t lack ruthlessness, though, and deep down, she is a down-to-earth, practical girl, aware of her own strengths and weaknesses. She hates Tyroshi men and, generally, all men with dyed hair, as she blames her father for the death of her mother.

1) Character Name: Walder Frey
2) Character Age: 42
3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): The Trident
4) Character Byname: Goldfinger
5) Character Skills (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, and 2 noteworthy skills and 1 expert skill): Beginner Riding, Beginner Swordsmanship, Novice History, Novice Architecture, Apprentice Persuasion, Noteworthy Foreign Relations, Noteworthy Politics, Expert Intrigue, Grandmaster Finances
6) Character's Second (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, and 2 noteworthy skills):
7) Character Personal History: Lord Walder Frey was groomed for wealth and power. At 22, when Walder was suddenly one of the wealthiest men in the Seven Kingdom, he knew exactly where he was going to lead House Frey. By 30, he had begun investing in trading connections and foreign relations in the free Cities and acting as an intermediary between merchant and noble. At 40, his policy of neutrality in times of war had allowed him to remain prosperous in times of chaos even fomenting rumors he could BUY Riverrun, earning him the name Goldfinger for his size and wealth. The Freys try their best not to deny it.
The enterprising Lord of the Crossing has made it his dream to build a canal from Ironman’s Bay to the Bite, a risky plan that if enacted, would make him wealthier than the Sealord of Braavos and the King of Westeros combine. However, he knows the doubts his fellow nobles have about the idea, so he has kept it under wraps and chooses to publicly focus on more acceptable goals, such as becoming Master of Coin or Lord Paramount of the North.
8) Character Physical Description: Lord Goldfinger is a small thin man without facial hair and shoulder-length dark red hair hair. His twinkling blue eyes add to his charm.
9) Character Reputation: Lord Goldfinger is whispered to be wealthier than even the Lannisters, which isn’t quite true. However, he is still shockingly wealthy for a banner house, easily rivaling the Hightowers and Yronwoods. Despite his house's long history of treachery, Lord Frey is known as an honorable businessman. The Smallfolk have been known to whisper that Lord Walder Frey truly shits gold…
