Jherek sat down in the gardens, same place as usual, in order to practice in peace. His instruments always needed tuning, and he had not played his harp in a while. As such, he withdrew the finely crafted instrument from his cloak and began to play, feeling out the out-of tune strings, and adjusting when necessary. He soon had the entire thing as it was before, and played a sweet melody of descending and ascending scales.

Anni was feeling warm. Pregnancy did that to her. She decided to go fro a stroll in the gardens with her children and their wetnurse.

Jherek strummed a song of heavenly origin, forming clouds and diamonds with his notes, visions of all things pure and good.

Vaen was trying to catch a butterfly that was quicker than he was. Saella slept in her wet nurses arms. She could hear music playing. it made her smile and her mind begin to wander

Jherek looked up once he heard the steps coming, his fingers slowly coming to a stop.
"Good day, milady. May I help you?"

Jherek stood from his seat slowly.
"I am sorry, milady. I did not mean to startle you."
He made a bow to her, slowly as not to threaten her.
"My name is Jherek Doryn. I am a musician and storyteller. Would you like to hear a tune?"

Jherek nodded and began to draw his fingers across his harp's strings. He played a song of the rain, plucking individual strings at first, then chords, then many notes thrumming at once, weaving the tapestry of a summer's eve rain.
