[Marie]

"You shouldn't feel bad. Childbirth is a natural consequence of marriage and I am just happy you want to stay in my service," Joanna said. "When is your child due?"

[Helyn Caron]

'Not until April your grace, so i am useflu to you for some time yet.'

[Marie]

"My child is due in December so there is time for you to stay with me and get to the Eyrie. I might even consider joining you, if Daemon agrees."

[Helyn Caron]

'nothing could make me happier.' anni smiled. 'Now, tell me how you are coping.'

[Marie]

"I'm feeling a bit better but I believe the pain will stay with me for a while. I wish Daeron had at least had the decency not to humiliate us. That was cruel."

Joanna looked hard at Anni.

"Does it bother you that he spoke of the party?"

[Helyn Caron]

'It bothered me a lot yes.' All life dissapeared from Anni's eyes. 'But Maekar already knew of it and has said nothing of it since that day.'She sighed.

[Marie]

"That's one blessing at least, but we could both have done without that. I wish I'd never agreed to lay with Daeron now. At the time it seemed churlish to refuse and I couldn't let him know that Daemon and I had already been lovers before but now..."

She sighed.

"Daeron was such a fool. He could have been so much more and done honour to our name. Mother will be heartbroken when she finds out."

[Helyn Caron]

Anni looked to her feet. 'I remember little of the night myself, and regret putting myself into that position.'

[Marie]

"Me too but what's done is done. I suppose we should just try to forget it, and make a pact that it will never happen again."

[Helyn Caron]

'I do not plan on it.' Anni smiled weakly. 'I could not do that to Maekar again. How are you coping with your pregnancy, last we spoke you could not wait till it was born'

[Marie]

"I still feel the same because I know the hardest parts are yet to come. The early stages of pregnancy aren't so bad but..."

Joanna shrugged.

"I want to experience the joy of presenting Daemon with his child. The wait is a nuisance because I can't do anything remotely interesting or useful until then."

[Helyn Caron]

'It does tie you down somewhat i must agree.' Anni smiled. She couldnt wait until she began to show. 'Have you throught of what your going to call it yet?'

[Marie]

"Yes, we talked about names some time ago. We'll call it Aemon if a boy, Visenya if a girl. What about you? Have you discussed names with Maekar yet?"

[Helyn Caron]

'Not yet no, we have spoken little of late, it's still early yet as well.' Anni smiled.

[Marie]

"Oh, do you have any ideas of your own then? Perhaps a family member or friend you would like to honour? Daemon and I chose Targaryen names."
