Aidan stepped forward, and placed a hand on her back, "You need not fear with me in the same keep. I swear no harm will come to you while I am near. And you know how capable I truly am."

Aidan nodded, "We will milady." He bowed deeply, and offered her a smile. Then his face settled back into its neutral expression, and he turned walking away.

Joanna had been hoping to speak to her brother Daeron but had never managed to get him alone. Eventually she tracked him down to the Golden Gallery.
"Hello, Daeron," she said, somewhat nervous of her reception. "I'd been hoping to speak to you."
