"That is acceptable to me. But as you said you traveled a long way, do you want to clean the dirt and sweat of travel off before we get down to the important matters of news?"

"Fair enough." Lord Jon leads the way to his solar.
Once at the room he opens the door and symbols for the two men to enter.

Robert and Ashurgi walk into the room and take seats.
"You see Jon, Prince Maekar has been worried that you've begun to get bored since our campaign against the clansmen. He knows a warrior like you must be beginning to feel somewhat restless about now."

Jon takes the seat behind his desk, "I have managed to get by, by helping rebuild the village but seeing as how that is almost done, yes I grow a bit restless."

"The prince also wishes for our houses to increase our relations with other house of the Vale. To that end, he has suggested we bring battle to the Burned Men clan in order to retrieve the sword of the Corbrays that their former fool of a lord lost in battle to the Red Hand."

"That sounds like a good plan, do we know of their whereabouts? Also I hope our little escapade will not have us meet up with those Golden Masked heathens again."

Robert cleared his throat at the mention of the Golden Masks. "No, I think we should stay well clear of that particular clan. We have no knowledge to their whereabouts, that's where our friend here Ashurgi comes in. We hope he'll be able to give us the assistance we need to track down the Burned Men."

Jon shrugs, "That will work I am guessing." He turns to Ashurgi, "I hope you are that good, I do not want to lead my men through a giant goose chase."

Ashurgi fixed him a look. "I will find the prey you are seeking, my lord," he said with confidence.

"I like your confidence Master Ashurgi." Jon turns back to his brother, "Is there any other news coming from Prince Maekar?"

Robert glanced at Ashurgi then back at Jon. He shifted slightly in his seat. "No, apart from that he is in King's Landing currently visiting his wife and their new babe."

"We should raise men and seek them out as soon as possible. Prince Maekar plans to call 250 knights for his own part."

"I will raise as many knights as I can in such a time, and a number of men at arms to help, do you know if Prince Maekar has sent word to Lord Corbray telling him of our plans to gain their sword back?"
