I wish to discuss the Dornish situation with the council.
1)Are we going to crush them with our might?
2)Do we wish to send down an official negotiator to the Sandy wastes?
3)Should we offer a bribe to Dornish men to rebel against their princess?
4)Are we prepared to forgive the Dornish if they surrendor.

The Hand began quickly, "I propose a mobilization of 5,000 men from every great House and select two points in Dorne to send fleets. If the Arbor will grant us some of their navy we can blockade Sunspear."

"That sounds like an interesting plan. I would support it."
"So diplomacy is off the table?"

"Just as a reminder, Dorne was not taken before by force. You have to assume they will hide again once the realize marshalling large forces is no the way to beat us. It took a wedding to bring them into the fold.
I just seems that ignoring a diplomatic solution may turn out to be short sighted."

"Taking Dorne would be a difficult task, as our troops would have to face unfamiliar terrain and the hot sun. Taking this into account along with the fact that the realm is still recovering from a costly war, it may be better to attempt a diplomatic solution before acting militarily."

"Do we have skilled diplomat bargaining with them? Because much can be gained or lost depending on those skills."

"Very well. It may be wise to bring the Dragon along, as such a fearsome beast can demonstrate to Dorne the inevitability of defeat, and the price of insurection."

"Maybe a quick flyover. Less a threat and more proof that the dragon exists and that it is in Dorne's best interest to make peace quickly."

"I have heard that a deal has been signed, and it sounds like a poor deal at that. The diplomat you sent was an incompetent. The terms set precedent for rebellion. I would recommend some sort of punishment for the man you sent."
