After having studied the map for a while Daeron and company ride in the direction of the mining area.

The ride gets hard, and soon his men are forced to dismount in order to continue into the region on foot.

Daeron, walking his steed up the moutains, keeps a look out for any disused mines they might find.

When they reach the top of the path they see a single mine entrance, which is marked with a small wooden sign.
"Danger... cave ins. do not enter."

"Yes, it will do." Daeron said. "Go and get it, Maahor check on our supplies." The sellsword nodded and headed off to do so. Daeron took a step towards the entrance and looked to see if he could spot anything inside.

There is a winch and pulley system which controls a platform. It seems the mine is very deep below the surface.
