"Of course, but not with any results," Ser Gyles replies, "They are slippery bastards, and in there deep somewhere I think."

"When my brother gets here we should have 1500, without whatever amount you have yourself. If we split them into groups of fifty and planted them in locations near the south-east of the mountains where the clans have already been attacking, maybe we can catch them unaware during an attack."

"I've myself, of course, and 100 men-at-arms, but we are needed at the gate. I can provide you with some scouts if you like though," Ser Gyles says.

"But do you think the plan is a sound one?"

Robert rolled his eyes then turned back to face the knight with a big smile. "Well thank you for all your assistance, Ser Gyles. You are a credit to your position. I believe I'll go prepare the men and await my brother," he said, patting Gyles on the shoulder as he walked past him.

"Brother," he says as he sees him, "are you ready to teach some clansmen a lesson?"

Jon smiles when he sees his younger brother, "Yeah this should be interesting to see why they have increased in there activity so much, have we heard anything of importance yet?"

Robert snorted, "Ser Gyles, the knight of the Bloody Gate, couldn't find a clansmen if it was up in his chambers fucking his wife. We didn't get on. You may have better luck though, you're nicer."

Jon laughs at his brothers comments. "Slightly, I can be nicer at certain times but we will see how things turn out once I meet this Ser Gyles fella."

"All we know is they're attacking mostly from the southeast of the mountains. Ser Gyles thinks their numbers is around 3000, split into bands of 100. That's about it."

Jon thinks for a second, "So that would be about 30 groups of bandits if Ser Gyles is correct, have we sent out any scouts looking for where they might be?"
