"Oh, it's nothing special." Daeron said offhandedly. "No, no, what have you been doing in Braavos?"

"Yeah... well... I'll give you a hot meal for a few songs, but that's it. Anything the customers throw at you, you can keep, be it silver, or something else," the barkeep says clearly regretting his decision already. "I thank you, Master Barkeep. I promise you that you will not regret your decision. Where do you want me to perform my singing and playing?" he said and looked around the common room.

Skulked around in the dead of night, kidnapped a lord's daughter, double-crossed a powerful crimelord, got betrothed... Quentyn smiles. "You know me, Dare. A lot of waiting and watching, a meeting or two. Boring business for the most part, but the King's business. Speaking of which," he withdraws an envelope from his breast pocket, "Should you happen to return to King's Landing before I, would you do me the great favor of seeing that this envelope gets to His Grace?"

"Why of course." Daeron replied, taking the envelope. "I assume I may not see it's contents?"

"I would prefer you didn't, at least until you reach King's Landing," Quentyn says. "His Grace will benefit from two separate reports more than he will our impressions mixed together."

Daeron nodded and set the envelope down as well. "So where are you headed next, if not home?"

Quentyn glances at the door. "Best not to say, cousin. The walls have ears. But I will be leaving before the hour is out." He frowns, as if suddenly remembering something. "Have you seen Marianne recently?"

"I have." Daeron said with a nod. "She is well and safe, though for the moment will not be leaving her current residence."

Quentyn frowns. "Convince her otherwise, Daeron. She needs to grow up sometime, and you are doing her no favors by shielding her."

"Steffon had no right putting a bounty on the man's head." Daeron replied, a light note of anger in his voice. "Anyhow, there is nothing I can do. They are being shielded by another, not myself."

Quentyn shrugs. "So convince him to lift the bounty. Hiding in some remote corner of the world does not strike me as a good way to deal with the situation." Quentyn shakes his head. "But I did not come here for Marianne's sake, so I leave that to you, or whomever her protector may be. I must depart while the tide is still good. Enjoy your stay in Braavos, coz. And speak to the other claimants for Sealord if you can."

"I will, cousin." Daeron replied. "Perhaps I will unravel their little secrets too."

Quentyn smiles. "I wish you luck," he says, then leaves.

"I thank you, Master Barkeep. I promise you that you will not regret your decision. Where do you want me to perform my singing and playing?" he said and looked around the common room. The barkeep gestures, "Wherever, as long as you are the hell out of the way."

Lysaer nodded and left the bar to find himself a place where he could perform. He found a good spot in on of the corners of the common room where he had a view of the whole room and was out of the way from most of the customers as well of the running of the serving wenches.
He took a few minutes of himself to tune the lute, before he placed his fingers on the strings and began to play a common tavern song in Braavos.
