"I said that I would ask Tybolt and tell him. What would you have done Daeron?"

Tybolt drank his tea, and eyed Daeron with distrust. Whenever his gaze fell to Mari though, he could not help smiling.

"Probably the same, then leave." Daeron said. "The man will probably follow you though but I don't think he will try to get you back to Steffon."

"What makes you say that?" She asked. "Why would he follow us? He said himself that Lord Bettley only wanted me in his protection to wind Steffon up and have my connections."

"To keep his eyes on you perhaps." Daeron replied. "If, as you say, you are not under his protection, Steffon's people may still come after you. In this instance, having Bettley's eyes on you is not a bad thing."

"Steffon would chase us no matter what. In his eyes what we did would be a slight to our house." Marianne said, knowing what her brother was like.

"If Milo's job was to bring you back then Mari would already be at Storms End again, and you Tybolt... well, you know." He picked up a bottle of wine and poured three cups. "Anyhow, I am going to make it my responsibility to stop Steffon from getting his hands on you two."

Tybolt looked at Mari, and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, "He is probably correct."

"I wouldnt ask you to do that Daeron. Steffon would be livid with you too if you did." Mari said, looking a little more relaxed with Tybolt's arm around her.

"And do I look like I care what Steffon thinks?" Daeron asked with a smile, handing each of them a cup. "The first thing we need to figure out is where to bring the two of you."

A chair pulled back, and Frederick Storm sat down at the table, "Well I have a walled manse outside the city all prepared." He waves for the waitress to come over and orders a wine. He tips her a gold coin, and eyes her bodice impressed.

Marianne shook slightly as if there was a chill and moved a little closer to Tybolt.

"It seems the two here are not inclined to trust themselves into your care. Unfortunately." Daeron comments to the new arrival.

"They perhaps had a couple of days to decide before you brought them into the inn you were staying at, you bloated wind bag." Frederick replied to the prince. He smiled at the waitress, and slipped another coin down her bodice. He winked at her, an easy smile on his face.
Tybolt's hand tenses on Mari's shoulder, and his other hand slips down to his sword hilt.
