"Oh I'm sorry..I got carried away in the spirit of the game and did not want to look weak since I joined with you. I want to win anything that I join of course." She smiled sweetly. She giggled again and turned red. "Perhaps. But sometimes things are not meant to be it would seem. I don't know your grace, I'm still a fool with love, and my heart is still young, but it is difficult. I can only seek solace in the fact that he may have happiness already."

The King looked around, "Is he close you will not even say his name?" Not seeing any one he thought acceptable he looked back to her and asked, "Who is it? You can tell me Arya, I never let any one know my secrets."

She looked around as well, wracked with nervousness in the pit of her heart. She shook her head, "I can't say. Gods know I want to but I can't." She looked at him apologetically. "I can't betray him, it would hurt me."

"To be truthful, he is cute, though most find him menacing. But it is not he, and I would be afraid to love him, for fear that it would... well, kingsguard are not allowed to love." Ary stated simply. She folded her hands in her lap.

"That would explain why you must keep it secret." Daemon frowned, "I am going to strangle the white weasel."

"I don't love him, so please do not hurt him. I don't think I can lie to you Dae- my king. Please, let's forget about all of this, I was silly to bring the topic of love up."

Daemon smiled, "There is an advantage to being king, and I can simply command you to do it, and you have no choice." He tilted his head emphatically at her.

She felt sick to her stomach, "But you wouldn't. I'd like to tell you but it would not do any good." She felt her skin go white. "Not in front of everyone."

Daemon laughed and looked around the room, "Alright, I will not make you tell me now. I will try and find you later and then we can talk."

Aryanna was visibly relieved. "Well alright. I still might not give in." Even though she wanted to. "I never meant to tease, I should not have said anything." She shook her head and looked ashamed.
