Daeron nods and was about to speak as Lavinya enters. He smiles widely and gives the girl a nod of his head. "Good day, sweet cousin. Your father and I were just discussing the unfortunate events of last night..."

Lavinya nodded, and curtsied, "It was horrible last night. All the blood. I was up all night in tears, and poor uncle Talyn."

"Did you have anyone to comfort you?" Daeron asked. "I myself was stricken too... it was so unexpected."

"My brother, and father were there for me. They were quite helpful." Lavinya replied, "Did you have any one to comfort you, my prince?"

"Just myself, and a botte of dornish red." Daeron replied with a smile. He turned to Euric. "Ah, may I ask what makes you believe Tomas Thatcher's innocence?"

"I just know the boy, and the man he grew into." Euric replied, "Why he could no more commit murder then you could."

Daeron nodded. "I trust your judgement. Now, as to my travelling to Starfall... I will need to stop by at Highgarden first, the two of you are of course invited. Any of your other family members that wish to come can do so as well."

"Good." Daeron said with a grin, rising. "Then I bid the two of you a good day. Lavinya, it was unfortunate I did not get to see your Shiera Seastar costume."

Lavinya curtsied again, "Perhaps I shall show it to you another day."
Euric glanced hard at his daughter, and then turned his gaze to Daeron, "A pleasure Daeron."

"I shall look forward to it." Daeron said. "Good bye." He gave the girl his best smile and left.

Beric arrives, his eyes red and his hair messy. He approached his father, rubbing his eyes. "Must you call so early, father?" he asked with a sigh. "Cup of ale might help, if you can spare one," he said, plopping down into the first chair he saw with a thud.

Euric grinned ruefully, and moved to sit down across from his son. "Last time I checked I was the father, and not the servant. If you want ale, fetch it your self boy." He looked at a letter in his hand, and added, "I do not remember seeing you in many events at the Tourney."

Beric grumbled, and went and fetched a cup of ale, the largest he could find. Returning, he sat back down and said, "well I didn't wish to ruin the sanctity of the events. It wouldn't have been much of a competition had I been there, and wasn't that the whole intent?" he smirked.
