For once Connor does not smile, but simply nods his head. "Your Majesty, I came to offer my aid before I leave the city for home. As always me and my own are at your disposal and I wish to lend a hand in these troubled times."

Connor nods, noting the king's tired appearance. "Well my offer still stands. Riverrun is yours should you need it, it would not be a sorry sight to see the court return sometime soon. And it seems I must find a new knight for Brandon to squire for...would you have any suggestions?"

The King shook his head, "I can not think of anyone off the top of my head. Give me a couple of days and I will see if that can be helped."

"Thank you King Daemon, I know there is much on your mind. As I have said, I wish to help in any way I can...those of you at court have always remained close to me. Taking on some small burden is the least I can do," Connor replies.

Daemon nodded, and forced a small smile, "If I have any need that I think you could fill Lord Tully, I will have you sent for."

"That is all I ask your majesty. House Tully is indebted to the royal family, and I mean to see that debt paid," Connor says. "If you have anything for me send word to Riverrun, if it pleases you. I will be leaving this afternoon for my humble domain."

"I will speak to him as a brother then. If you insist." Daemon replied. "I would of course insist nothing of you Your Grace. I simply ask that you speak to him."
