"Comon!" Arya said, "You first since you're bigger."

Sojen chuckled and led them left, his shield braced.

Arya followed close behind, her sword nearly forgotten in her right hand. She kept her eye our for any threats though.

The left turn quickly dead-ended.

"Oh shoot!" Arya said, "Hopefully we are luckier the next time." Sojen scowled. Not the best start. They back tracked down the right.

A man leaped out and swung at Arya. Arya leaped back and stumbled over the feet of Sojen jerking him back at a bad angle. He dropped his shield as he stumbled.
Sojen then was struck across the ribs with the flat of the wooden blade. Leaping back instinctively he pulls Arya back down as she was standing up.
The Knight with the wooden sword lunges again, and Sojen grabs his wrists. The two men lift the sword of the bad guy into the air, and tremble in effort. Then the man grunts and falls over, acting dead.
Arya had stabbed him in the gut from the ground.

"That's a girl!" Sojen exclaimed excitedly, helping her up form the ground and righting her. "We'll make a warrior out of you yet!" He chuckled, hefting the sword up from where the knight had dropped it.
"Let's go."

"Agh!" Arya said, not having touched the ground in such a manner since she was a small child. She felt dirty. "Sorry for stabbing you. It was necessary." She told the dead man and then got up and brushed the dirt off her.

The came soon to another choice, left or right.

Sojen chose the left path once more. He had decided to discard the sword, and continue on with the shield once more. This time, he was cautious, looking all about for any sort of trap or ambush.

The walked down the corridor, and a man leaped out, and struck. Sojen blocked him, and then crashed his shield against the man again, and again. Pushing him against the wall.
The man cried out from the other side, "I give, I give. Just let up man."

Ary frowned slightly as she got pulled around again, she started doubting the fun in this. "You're doing good Master Sojen."

Sojen, realizing he was perhaps a bit too violent in his detracting of his assailant, let up, allowing the man freedom. He looked over his shoulder at Arya and flashed her a white grin. "Thank you, milady. Shall we continue?"
